If your laptop was previously running on XP, upgrade your memory (RAM). make sure it is at least 2 GB to run windows 7.

My laptop is not instaling winodws 7 and working good on xp

It's very common when installing Windows 7 for you to get to the Windows logo or blue windows screen and it be blank and you sometimes have to wait for anything up to 15-20mins before the installation options appear, unsure why this is but make sure you allow 30mins on that blank screen before righting it off... You also need to decide if your setting up a dual boot system if you already have XP on their, if you want to keep both then select dual boot when installing. Sorry it's not an answer but waiting 15-mins or so may give u the answer, had that happen lots of times with win7

Windows 7 starts slow

win 7 is slow. its also a memory hog. you should have at least 4 gigs of ram. This is only one of many things that will make the computer start slow.

Hp 500 windows 7 wireless driver not working

HP does not list Win7 drivers for this model, look at the link below:

call HP @ 8004746836, and asked them.
Win7 is still in it's infancy, hence not many earlier units have compatible drivers with this OS.
