Question about Apple iPod touch
Have you done resetting the phone?
Because it will take the touch screen response to old settings.
If still the problem persist then it is hard ware fault.
Have you tried upgrading the firmware?
Install the driver cd and Connect to the USB and update the firmware.
Open the i touch apart see the below video.You need mobile repair kit.Use the screw driver to open apart.
1)Flex could be loosened or damaged replace it or place it firmly into the socket.You can see a frame(Looks like photo negative paper)Clean the socket for any dust and place it correctly.Flex will look like this but exactly not of this model.This is a sample picture.
2)Check For the digitizer if it defective one replace it it controls the
sensitivity of our touch,Mostly this part will worn out.The copper
colour part is the degitizer.See the below video how to replace the degitizer.
