How many watts do the noma cq120 use and who sells it in ontario canada. i also would like to get a manual for it were can i get on.

Even though this unit is 12,000 btu's as opposed to the anemic 7,500 of the roof unit, it only draws 12 amps at 115 vac, for 1380 watts.

Noma transformer

I'm not sure how a Noma brand transformer stacks up against any other transformers, but all will have shortened life expectancies if they are over-loaded for very long or installed incorrectly.
Heat is the number one killer of electrics / electronics. Internally generated heat is usually where the heat comes from - if installed incorrectly. Most times, overheating indicates overload. Too many lights, too much weight, running too long, etc.
Conversely, a lightly loaded electric / electronic device could last many, many years beyond its design because it is underused or underloaded.
Improper installation will shorten the life of even an underused device. Most electrics installation requirements call for clearances around cabinets, etc. to must be maintained to allow for cooling and ventilation. If insufficient cooling or air flow is provided, overheating results. Overheating causes the breakdown of insulation, conductors, etc. and over time, will cause premature failure or worse.
Good luck!

Noma thermostat 5+1+1 model number THM303M I need the manual in English, only received French when we bought it so that I can set it for our temperatures.

I am am sorry to tell you that Gen Tek Noma was sold to ECI a few years ago and you can no longer find any information on there thermostats unless some in one has it english. If you still have the French version use a translation software on line to interpret it for you.

Thank you for using FixYa

I have a Noma/ DeLonghi portable air conditioner. 3 Modes-fan-dehumidify-air conditioner. When I try the Dehumidify or air conditioner mode the mchine strains to start up and then blows a fuse. Fan still...

Compressor is not starting, it could be a bad or shorted run capacitor, start capacitor and relay, low voltage, loose or disconnected wire or a shorted compressor.
