I cant get music

Music - the newer Philips players do not support DRM-protected files. You will have to use songs that are in Mp3 format, or songs that are non-protected WMA's (NOTE: non-protected WMA's generally are only converted from CD's you own. I don't know of any music services that use them).

Video - the installation CD should have come with a program called the Philips (Arcsoft) Media Converter. If you have lost your installation CD, you can acquire this program from the Philips website. The program must be used to convert and transfer videos to your Philips.

I cant upload music as i have no cd for the installation it is a sony walkman nw-e013 can anyone help please thanks ..

The Installation CD is not required. You just open the player folder and drag your songs onto the windows.

Just in case if unable to show device icon:
If you have Windows 95 or 98, you may want to upgrade to later versions of Windows (2000, XP, Vista or later).

Hope that'll work.

Good luck and Happy Holidays.

Lost software disk for Phillips Go gear

www.usasupport.philips.com for missing software - just enter model #

Use Windows Media Player to transfer songs - the programs on the installation CD are not used for transferring - they are only used for repairing the occasional malfucntion

NO CD

You can see if you can find software or drivers here:
http://www.sandisk.com/DriverDownload/driverList.asp

However, if you plug the player into your computer via usb, does it not show up as a drive in your list under "My Computer" ?
If so, you should be able to drag and drop your songs into it that way. (In some cases, Windows assigns an incorrect drive letter to usb drives when you have networked drives attached and you can't see them. There is a way to solve this if that is the case.)

Some music players convert the files to some special format to prevent copying; I am not sure if the Sandisk is one of those.
