10-389 Fuser Nip Contact Failure RAP Description The Nip Sensor did not go L within 5 seconds after the Fuser Nip Clutch was energized (Pressure Roll started moving against the Heat Roll).
Initial Action Refer to BSD 10.6, BSD 10.9, and 10.12 for the following procedure.
Check for the following:
· Ensure that connectors P/J413A and P/J169 are seated correctly on the IOT Drive PWB, and the Nip Sensor and there are no obvious crimped or broken wires.
· Check Fuse F1 on the AC Driver PWB. If the fuse is blown, replace it ( PL 9.3). If the fuse blows again, go to the +24 VDC Wirenet and check for a short circuit in the harness.
· Open the Drawer and extend it to the Service Position. Rotate the Gear on the latching mechanism in the CCW direction (as viewed from the front of the machine) and ensure it rotates freely and the Pressure Roll moves up and down as the Gear is rotated ( PL 8.6). Leave the Pressure Roll unlatched.

My apology. I recently left my job. I no longer have access to xerox documentation and the codes. And I do not want to make a guess and lead you down the wrong path to a solution.
If you haven't resolved your problem, I would suggest reposting it on the main board here and allow someone else to provide your answer.

Turkey fryer won't start

Yo! the Dang pan has to be filled and on the burner which makes contact with the auto shut off sensor that is measuring the temp of the pan. The weight of the filled pan holds that Lil temp sensor down and allows the gas to continuously flow as if you were holding that Lil red button. So after hours of trying to light it without the pan you should find that it does work with the filled pan on the burner holding the red button, stick a match in the hole and let the button go and watch the blue flames flow. My gripe now is that it shuts off after the oil temp reaches 250 to 260 degrees then you have to reignite. Oh yeah my 10lb Turkey was crazy tasty.

My flame keeps on going out on my turkey fryer it has a heat sensor on it how do i position the sensor so the flame doesnt go out

The heat sensor for your turkey fryer is preset to 375 degrees F. Once the oil reaches that temperature, the sensor turns the flame OFF, so that the oil will not boil over and ignite. Once the oil cools to 325 degrees F, the burner can be relighted . Use extreme caution when relighting the burner. Altering or repositioning the heat sensor would make the fryer unsafe to operate.

I'm sorry. I which I had better news for you. Always, err on the side of caution & safety when dealing with open gas flames.

E2 -F3-

The F3 E2 error code indicates that the electronic oven control board in the range senses an over-temperature condition in the oven.

This can be caused by a failed temperature sensor probe, a wiring problem between the sensor and the control board, or a failed electronic oven control board.
If the oven is apparently not overheating when this error code appears, then your likely failure is the temperature sensor probe.
If the oven is overheating, then you likely have a failed electronic oven control board due to a stuck relay not cycling the oven heating element off properly.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question!!!!
