No picture I have sound, but no picture. The picture took about five minutes before it would appear, then was very fuzzy, then would come into focus as normal. Now the picture is blank. But I am getting sound. TV was functioning normally before this problem.

the sticker with the model number is torn.
The last four numbers are 5415R. Samsung website is showing either POM or PCL
The red light blinks for about ten seconds and then goes out. It use to blink and then the set would come on. Now it blinks and then nothing.
    But the sound does work.
I am only running a dvd player. No broadcast or cable connections. If the dvd player was not connected the screen would be blue. Now, nothing. Just blank, as if it is off. When I press the power button you can hear the power "relay" come on. And when you turn it off the same thing. You can hear the "relay"

I have already tried the unplug trick.
After several "jolts" which I tried before,
no luck. You say lamp replacement? How many lamps are there? I what looks like three.
By the way the model is PCL5415R.
    thanks

First, try the unplug it, wait a few minutes, plug it in trick, several
times. If that doesn't work try pressing the power button and slap the
back left side of the set several times. Sometimes, this will shock the
ballast and/or lamp into working. If still no luck, check the manual
for instructions on lamp replacement and unplug, then, reseat the lamp.

Sounds like the focus motor came loose - you need to take it apart and repair the gear that drives the lens assembly for focusing. The noise you're hearing is the motor trying to focus but since the lens cannot focus it continues to run and signals an error.

Photos are fuzzy

as you take a picture ( scene w/o flash ) slightly press the snap button and wait till red or green box appear, if red box, out of focus. if green box in focus. when green box, make sure you and the focus are very still, then take a clear picture, pressing the button all the way. make sure no shaking as press button either.

Fuzzy Picture

Fuzzy is a funny word. I never use it to describe a picture problem. That because fuzzy can go too many different ways. There is snowy fuzzy, blurry fuzzy, grainy fuzzy, and demodulated fuzzy. If the set goes out of focus intermittently that has something to do with the focus ciruitry. If it goes grainy that is a front end problem, usually tuner related. The other types of fuzzy are generally associated with problems in video processing some where. So, which is it?

Oh, and BTW that unit has three small picture tubes in it, one red, one blue, and one green. It doesn't have a 'bulb'.

All of the pictures taken are very fuzzy no matter what you do

check to see if a flower appears on the screen. If it does then the camera is set to macro and all your pictures except close up will be fuzzy. To switch macro off, move the ring on the front of the camera till the arrow is pointed straight down. I was having the same problem. Wasted a whole day of vacation pictures. That was what fixed my problem and I hope it fixes yours too,

Blurry picture

If you know where the fly back is, ok open the casing and see at the back of the fly back, there are two knobs, one for the focus and the other is for the brightness. Try twist both and see which one is for the focus. Ok, from the focus knob try adjusting until the fuzzy sight disappears. Try this, I usually do it to screens with blurry appearances.

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:
