Hi,
If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip....

If you have an electric dryer, you can have many different things that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.

check out this electric no heat tip...

I have a Roper gas dryer (RGS7646KQ2) which is not heating up to dry clothes. The drum turns and the timer works as well. It appears to be acting normally, except it is blowing cold air instead of warm...

You have a bad thermostat, flame sensor, thermal fuse, gas valve solenoids, or the high limit thermostat. Below is a video to walk you thru the diagnostic testing and repair.

My rope dryer stop putting out heat... it still spins and blows air just cold air

Remove the power and take the dust cover off. Lets take a look see at the heater assembly:
themobilian_340.jpgIt could be any of those components on the heater chamber. Any that are open will kill power to the heater. of course the heater could be bad too.themobilian_341.jpgThis one is held to the lower portion of that heating chamber by 2 screws. Way easier than the old style.
Fairly easy to fix just clean up the air restrictions of one of these limits are open. themobilian_342.jpgUsually that little one blows when the vent is cloggedthemobilian_343.jpg MORE HERE

Here are the break down diagrams and Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL RGX5634KQ2 | AppliancePartsPros.com

If the Ignitor comes on and lights the first stage then when the Ignitor comes on to light the second stage, there is no gas to light
The problem in such situation is a bad coil on the gas valve. No doubt about it.

- The part number for the coil kit is AP3094251

Whas this inf. was helpful ?

Electric dryer blowing cold air

You either have a blown fuse, breaker, burned out element, wiring that has come loose. They all can be checked within 5 minutes. However, I believe it is in the thermal fuse which is located below the top of the dryer. You can access that pretty easy though. To check it, just bypass it and put the 2 wires together and see if it runs. The fuse is only 15 dollars or so. I am assuming you have an electric dryer.
