Getting a memory stick you plug into one of the USB ports might be an option--Make sure you buy one that is compatable with your filesystem/operating system.
There are two main commercial types of Usb port 1.1 and 2.0
most memory sticks these days cover both types
your pc'should recognise the Usb stick as a different drive E or F for example from there save and wait for save process to stick

Hi,my hd FUJITSU MHV2120AH Media its not working properly anymore.I connect via usb to a mac or pc and doesn't allowed anymore to initialize the disc,so its not possible to erase all data. It tells me...

If you can read teh data with a utility, you should back up (copy) anything on it which you want to save. Then try to use the utility to format the drive. If you mean the windows drive manager, then you may need a data recovery SW to save any data.
If you can not format the drive, consider it junk and toss it. If concerned about data privacy, just smack it with a hammer till it comes apart.

You need to purchase a new hard drive and have it installed, If you have anything important on your laptop right now, that is what you want to create a backup of, or you can have the store you buy the hard drive from do the back up for you and most computer stores will load it all to the new drive for free

Blue screen when left idle for period of time

Ouch, the Blue Screen of Death most likely. This can mean a lot of different problems, mainly in the hardware, either your C.P.U. is overheating, or your C.P.U., Mother Board or CMOS/BIOS has a short circuit. It can also mean your Hard Disk Drive is damaged. But you're here for solutions, not reasons:
1) Backup all your data from your Disk Drive in any method you can, then format your Disk Drive and reinstall everything.
2) Get a new computer, sounds harsh and expensive, but if the problem lies on the hardware, it will not be easily or cheaply repairable (if at all). A new C.P.U. is almost as expensive (if not more) than a new computer, a new Mother Board might not be compatible with your current hardware (HDD, RAMs, ROMs,etc) and the CMOS/BIOS is irreplaceable (embedded in the Mother Board). So buying a new computer might actually be cheaper.
3) Get a new Disk Drive, install everything in it,copy the data from the old Disk Drive and use the new one as your main Disk Drive. This is recommended only if the problem is found directly to be in the Disk Drive.

My computer froze so I turned it off and when i went to turn it back on, it says no bootable disk insert boot disk and press any key. Ive tried everything but it wont start up. And there is no disk that...

Sounds like your hard drive is going bad. Best thing to do is to take it to a shop and ask them to check your hard drive. Or, if at all possible plug it into another PC externally with a external HDD kit and check it with programs such as crystal disk info.

Best of luck

Sir good day for you.. ah i have a problem bout my cpu. i lost my driver so that i cant format my cpu now coz i dont have driver and then i try to download but always error i get.. so can you help me to...

you have to format your hard drive using a third party disc to erase everything on your hard drive
During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup
Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS the scroll to advanced bios features press enter change your first boot device to cd,press escape then press f10 to save to cmos restart
note this will erase you operating system you will have to have an operating system disk to load it onto you hard drive or create a partition to load another operating system
note after you have loaded the operating system you must go back and change the first boot device to your hard drive
The BIOS is AMI. Under ADVANCED SETUP:
The options listed for 1st,2nd ,3rd Boot device include:
IDE0 means Pri master
IDE1 means Pri slave
IDE2 means Sec master
IDE3 means Sec slave

or if you are using a USB
insert your usb drive
click start right click on my computer select open you should see your USB drive
right click then select format
another way is to control panel administrive tools, computer management disk management right click on your drive select format
hope this helps

Damage hard drive

If you've damaged your laptop's hard drive, there isn't too much you can do about the issue depending on the amount of damage. If it is only crashing, but still operable, you may just have enough time to save some of your information with an external hard drive or other form of data storage. Retrieve your preferred data storage device (an external hard drive would be the best choice in this situation) and try to save as much data from the broken hard drive by copying your data over to a backup folder on your external hard drive. You can find your external hard drive under "My Computer" once it has been plugged in. After you've saved your data, I would suggest buying a new hard drive for your laptop and replacing it carefully. Most laptops can be opened up from the bottom (DON'T undo any screws) and have their hard drives removed, so that you may be able to place in a new one. Be sure that you buy a compatible laptop hard drive, and not a larger hard drive meant for desktop computers.

I have a Laptop and an external hard drive. I

Depends on how you want to do the back up.

If you mean instantly writing to the backup external drive, sort of like a RAID configuration, I can't help you.

If you mean a regularly scheduled back, there are options available that should work great for you.

You can use Microsoft's built-in backup to perform backups, or you can use a 3rd party solution.

I've never really liked Microsoft's backup programs, so I use a free program called Cobian Backup,

http://www.educ.umu.se/~cobian/cobianbackup.htm

It is very simple to use. You can set up any schedule you want: daily, weekly, monthly, etc. You can do full backups of everything on your laptop, or only files that have changed or are new since your last back up.

It provides you with the option to use shadow copy, which means it canback up files currently in use (typically those are system files).

It can compress the files to save space and can also encrypt the back ups for security if desired.

I use it on 8 workstations to back up all new and changed files nightly, and to do a full system backup every 30 days and it works flawlessly for me.

2 drives

You really only have one drive. The d drive is a partition of your c drive. It is used for backing up your operating system and system restore. If you need more space, delete your programs that you dont use often or burn them on a disk. Do this with pictures also. After you delete everything you dont use run your defrag. Just be careful you do not delete any windows files
