You can reset the router by pressing the reset button for atleast 20 secs when power is on. This will kill the password and settings to factory default.
see page 28 in the manual.

If you've forgotten the password to your Netgear router, then you're locked out from making any changes. The only way to recover a Netgear router password is to reset the device to factory default settings. You can then set a new password and recover your ability to configure the router.
