1 Answer

What I would like to know is if there is any way to format this device back to factory or boot files from the mini sd.? I do not have the usb cord (25-108022-01R) . The reason for asking this is because some software comes up (manager mc55) and i cannot exit the software and i do not have the admin login password.

Hi, you can use the mini SD Card and clean boot files provided at support.symbol.com , see the link http://support.symbol.com/support/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=12197&sliceId=&dialogID=191034383&stateId=1%200%20191024978
Instructions are provided in the zip file.
If you have an cradle for the MC55, you could connect it with an PC and use some kind of remote control software to kill the application and then erase the autostart entry.

How can I view from a mini sd card camera?

If you want to view information from any kind of SD card on a tablet or phone you have a few options that may cost up to $30 or so. The fastest one would be to get a Micro USB to Female USB cord I've attached below. I can't speak for the quality of this one, but it's the idea of what you need. Next find yourself a SD reader that connects through USB. Plug the adapter cable into your phone, then the card reader into the female USB end of the cord, and use a file manager app to view the contents! Keep in mind older devices will not support this. Make sure you keep your receipts in case this doesn't work for your device!

It may be more technical than you're looking for, but good luck!

How do you move your memory from phone to sd card?

  • 1 Insert your new SD card into your cell phone. For most devices, you will have to slide the card into a slot on the side of the phone or remove the battery and insert the card into an encasement. Replace the battery (in the latter case) and boot up the phone.
  • 2 Connect the cell phone to a computer using a USB cord (make sure the cord is compatible with your particular mobile device). This cord sometimes comes in the package when you buy a new phone.
  • 3

Wait for the computer to recognize your new hardware (the phone). A dialog box will appear asking you for instructions regarding the new portable device. Click the option to open your device's file folder. You should see a folder for the media card and your device memory.

  • 4 Go to the device folder first and select all of the files and folders that you want to transfer to the SD card. Press "Ctrl" and "X" to cut the files from that folder.
  • 5 Navigate back to the media card folder. Press "Ctrl" and "V" to paste the files onto the SD card.

How to factory default Mc75 device

    Resetting the MC75

There are two reset functions, warm boot and cold boot. A warm boot restarts the MC75 by closing all running

programs. A cold boot also restarts the MC75, and also resets the clock. Data saved in flash memory or a memory

    card is not lost.

If the MC75 is not functioning properly, perform a warm boot first. If the MC75 still does not respond, perform a cold

    boot.

    Performing a Warm Boot

Hold down the Power button for approximately five seconds. As soon as the MC75 starts to boot release the

    Power button.

    Performing a Cold Boot
To perform a cold boot simultaneously press the Power button and the 1 and 9 keys.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response

    Thanks, Joe

My mini sd card is in raw format and my computer can't read it - how do i change it back to fat file system ?

    1. Place the mini-SD card within the mini-to-SD card adapter. Make sure the tab on the mini-SD is facing the upper side of the adapter. Slide it in slowly, being careful not to damage the pins.
    2. Slide the adapter in an SD slot on your computer. If you do not have an SD slot, place the adapter in a USB card reader, and plug that into a USB slot on your computer. Give the computer time to read the card.
    3. Open "My Computer" (usually located in your start menu) and navigate to your mini-SD card. It will usually be recognized as a drive such as "E:" or "H:."
    4. Right-click on the drive and select the "Format" option. A menu window will open.
    5. Make sure that the drive size is set correctly, and that it is set to the file system you wish to use (usually FAT32 on an SD card). If you don't know what file system you should use, just leave it at the default setting.
    6. Enter a volume label, which is the name for the drive, then press start. This process should only take a few minutes.
    WARNING
    • Do not use the "Quick Format" option unless you have just recently formatted the mini-SD card. "Quick Format" doesn't completely erase all data and is not effective unless used after a full format.
    • When you format your mini-SD card, all of the data on it will be erased. Make sure to back up your files on the card before formatting
