Hi,

Check if the system is muted.

Unmute it.Check for all the speaker connections.

Check the power connction to the speakers.

Open the device manager & see if it has any bangs like ! , ?, X mark.

If not check. Then Give the OS, mother board, make & model of the sytem information.

Thanks.

I could be mistaken but I think your audio system is a Realtek .
If you need driver for Realtek AC97 under Windows Vista or 7, you can download the driver from : http://download.cnet.com/Realtek-AC-97-Driver-Windows-Vista-Windows-7/3000-2120_4-10962344.html
If you need it for earlier versions , go here :

Realtek ac97 audio driver for xp free download

nowadays nothing is for free on the net, except if you go into sites that can harm your entire OS, if you have your install cd of yhe motherboard, insert it in cd/dvd rom, if it auto open the info, cancel and go to my computer, right click on the rom that contains the cd/dvd and choose Explore, under sound file browse for audio and then realtek ac97, once there look for the .exe file and install it manually
