I've had an ongoing problem with two different 8700G's where the radio shuts itself off without my intervention. To make a call or get email I have to manually turn the radio back on. There's no pattern to it. One day it will happen once, the next day five times. T-Mobile already replaced the battery twice and replaced the BB once as well.

This is unfortunately a known issue with the Pearl. There are a couple
reasons to why this happens. If your battery is defective, then your
phone will sporadically believe that your phone is low on battery (even
when its not), this will cause your phone to kick the radio off by
itself--even every 5 minutes. Try cleaning the battery contacts or even
try a new battery. Another reason is a faulty OS, if the battery
replacement doesn't work, then the problem is with your OS and will have
to be re-installed. I know this sounds like a hassle, but its a known
issue and it should take care of your problems.
Well if you are tied to a particular network all you have to do is to unlock your phone to use it any other GSM network. You can get the unlock code through online. Give your IMEI number & get the unlock code for ur mobile .............You also get through online..........I will suggest the website Unlock-Zone.com which is doing good service .....you can approach this website.
You can only do this by contacting your network service provider. You'll also need to ensure that you pay for an ongoing BlackBerry data service in order to use the BlackBerry specific services on your phone.
the issue is not clear...tell me is it about a battery problem you're telling about or the internal options of a cell. if its the second one, ie.not a physical problem of the phone board or battery, then let it be anything , can be solved in the options and settings menu bar. go through the users manual wisely and if the problem still persists contact me @ email@example.com
