You can download the driver for your operating system from
http://www.sandisk.com/sandisk-support/driver-download-wizard

With that, you can use Windows Media Player, iTunes, or even the operating system's drag&drop to copy music to the Sansa.

You will need to use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs to your Sansa MP3 player. All of the info about transferring songs in Windows Media Player can be found in the help files for Windows Media Player.

Sansa m230 won't be read

I have the fix for this:
if you are using an older unregistered copy of WINDOWS, then your problem is that you need to have a newer copy of WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER operating on your system. If you have recently reformatted and lost your newer version of WM Player , then you have lost the drivers necessary to read your SANDISK player and your OS will not show the older MP3 files on your mp3 player in Windows Explorer . You need to download and install a newer version of WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER because it is the part of your operating system that contains the newer drivers that your SANDISK requires.
if you are using linux , you will need to find the drivers elsewhere online.

My sansa does not recognize most of the songs

This could be a bug, and you may need to update your mp3 player also the drivers.

Below is the link to your mp3 players drivers just choose the options that match your mp3 player and download and trying then.

http://www.sandisk.com/driverdownload/index.asp

I would recommened you to format your mp3 player for before installing any drivers or updates.

If you don't how to format follow these steps.

Click on "Start" - "My Computer" - look for something called "Removavle Disk" which should be your mp3 player. Once you've found that right click on it and click "Format". Once format is complete then go to the site and update the drivers.

Then try putting music on and seeing if it's fixed.

Good luck. Hope my solution was helpful.
