Hi welcome to FixYa I am Kelly. Let's try a little water valve flushing routine to see if we can't get the washer to "Snap out of it."

Turn off both water supply hoses at the wall connection. Remove just one hose and place the wall end of the hose in a bucket. Select a warm wash cycle and let the water back-flush into the bucket. Only turn on the faucett that still has a wall connection. Use the handle of a hammer and GENTLY tap on the water valve hose connections. When the bucket is about 1/3rd full stop the fill cycle. Connect the hose you first removed. Turn off the wall connection for the first hose that was still connected to the wall. Remove that hose and place the 2nd hose wall end in the bucket. Again start a warm wash fill cycle again tapping the hose connections of the water valve with the handle of a hammer until the bucket is 2/3rds full. Reconnect the hose and turn on the water. Do a normal wash checking to see if the filling with water at the end of the cycle routine repeats. If it does NOT repeat good job. If it does repeat then unplug the unit and see if the water continues. If it does the water valve will have to be replaced. If it stops you will need to find out why you have power to the water valve at the end of the cycle.

The objective here is to losen the piece of debris that is stuck in the diaphram of the water valve. The procedure above works about 70 % of the time if it is a small piece of debris.

Thanks fo choosing FixYa.

NOT FILLING THE WATER

Is there a faint buzzing or humming noise coming from the water-inlet valve? (The water-inlet valve is the device on the washing machine that the fill hoses are attached to.) If you can't hear anything, the water-inlet valve may not be getting any power. If you can hear some noise and there's water present, you may need to completely replace the water-inlet valve.

When the dishwasher starts or when water starts to enter dishwasher there is a loud noise.

ther could be something stuck n your drain pump.
the way it works is first the unit drains, the it fills, then it start to wash. now if you hear this noise after it drains then it could be your water valve or after it fills when it starts to wash it could be your circulation pump. it depends on what cycle you hear the noise. let me know if this help by posting 4 thumbs up for this answer, thanks

Detergent dispenser is filled with water after wash is completed.

The water is left there because the syphon action is not working in the dispenser, what you need to do is to remove the dispenser drawer completely and thoroughly clean the conditioner compartment, poking any holes or tube, particularly the syphon tube with a piece of flexible wire or similar to ensure it is completely unblocked.
. to test, fill the conditioner compartment with water, and it should slowly empty itself, if it does not, then it is still blocked.
Plz rate this solution.Thanks.

Describe your Maytag Neptune MAH5500B Front.loader...Creaks when washing

Hello saber396
welcome

Here are some facts that may be the sounds!

You said. you noticed lately that I hear a creaking sound when it is in the wash cycle...Is that a motor problem?

Clicking/draining sounds
when washer is started will be
before the washer starts to fill, it will make a series of clicking noises to
check the door lock and do a quick drain.

***********************************************************

Could it be a rapid snapping and/or
popping sound from the rear
of the washer during spin.
means that
Water is being extracted through the drain holes in the spinner and is
hitting the outer tub before draining out of the machine.

Let me know if these help any one understand the sounds!
Huuum

Washing machine wont fill

the humming noise is usually the inlet valve energised but no water there to come in. i appreciate you have checked. the other possibility is that the appliance has not pumped out completely and the noise you hear is the drain pump energised but stuck due to perhaps a foreign object in it. fault is unlikely to be inlet valve
