I have purchased a beheringer 1832fx usb mixer and I have connected my computer to my mixer that has a usb interface on the back in order to play my backing tracks, music, via my computer, and when I turn the volume up on the main mix level I get a very loud rattle sound coming from my pa system. also how can I control the mic volume to main mix volume! when I turn up the volume on the main mix the mic also goes up. I need to know how to separate the mic volume from the main mixer levels that controls my music to the pa. I have a cd that came with the mixer, do I need to down load the usb interface from the cd to my computer in order to eliminate any of the noises, rattling, crackling that is coming from my computer to the pa system! regards

You should have software specifically for the mixer loaded on your PC that makes external control easy and receives the audio over the USB link. If disks were provided with the unit, make sure they have been installed AND are compatible with the OS on your computer.
