1.does motor run? no. replace motor. 2.open door and leave the bottom rack inside dw.spin the spray arm underneath the bottom rack by hand. it should spin freely without binding. if it doesnt spin freely take out the bottom rack and try again. if it does spin freely then your bottom rack is laying on your sprayarm preventing it from rotating. 3.you could also not be getting enough water into your dw.

SOURCE: dishwasher - no spray arm action
If it is filling with water properly then it sounds like the chopper screen is clogged so that water isn't getting into the pump. You can remove the top of the pump housing and get to the screen and chopper blade to inspect it. Go to sears.com, click on parts and enter your model number and you can view a diagram of the pump parts to help in disassembling it.
If the pump is not clogged then you have a problem with the impeller or motor. If this is the case you can replace the entire sump assembly just about as cheap as replacing individual parts of the pump.

SOURCE: dishwasher not cleaning
check the water level in machine this may be low due to pressure switch not sensing correct level try blowing back through air tube to clear any water from tube then try again
quick way is to start machine and when in wash mode check water and position of arms then add a litre or so of water in mid wash then recheck wash arms if they are now moving then you have water level problem

Make sure that the top rack is pushed all the way back, before you close the door to switch it on. Look at how it rests in the connection in the back. You'll see what I mean. That's most likely the issue.

How do you know the arms are not moving? They are spun by the water jetting through them and they may be blocked. They just pull out and clip back in so run some mains water through them. Also if you put dishes or trays that are big they can obstruct the arms so give them a spin to see first.
