you can do one thing that is go to the recovery manager from start - all programs - accessories - recovery manager or else go to while you restart the computer keep tapping f11 that will load recovery manager screen but dont load the operating system instead there will be a option to load the drivers go there select the sound drivers and install them and you will be good to go.

SOURCE: I accidentally deleted the sound

First try System Restore and restore the system state to previous state before it was deleted. If this can't restore the file, you need to run a file recover or undelete using Recovery software like Pc Inspector Smart Recovery (click here to download, it's freeware). If you have TuneUp, it's another best application to recover deleted files.

Still can't restore/recover, then you better download the file and reinstall it, if you let me know the name of the operating system installed on your computer and the Model number of your Sony Vaio, I could help you better.

If you need further help, let me know with more details.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Accidentally deleted system volume information folder in HDD

You need to remove the hard drive from your laptop and connect it to an USB hard drive adapter.
You need access to a computer that has Internet access then download and instal the Recuva program.

Recuva (pronounced "recover") is a freeware Windows utility to restore files that have been accidentally deleted from your computer. This includes files emptied from the Recycle bin as well as images and other files that have been deleted by user error from digital camera memory cards or MP3 players. It will even bring back files that have been deleted from your iPod, or by bugs, crashes and viruses!
  • Put the memory card into an USB card reader and plug it into the USB port in your computer, then run the Recuva program.
  • Simple to use interface - just click 'Scan' and choose the files you want to recover
  • Easy to use filter for results based on file name/type
  • Simple Windows like interface with List and Tree view
  • Can be run from a USB thumb drive
  • Restores all types of files, office documents, images, video, music, email, anything.
  • Supports FAT12, FAT16, FAT32, exFAT, NTFS, NTFS5 , NTFS + EFS file systems
  • Restores files from removable media (SmartMedia, Secure Digital, MemoryStick, Digital cameras, Floppy disks, Jazz Disks, Sony Memory Sticks, Compact Flash cards, Smart Media Cards, Secure Digital Cards, etc.)
  • Restores files from external ZIP drives, Firewire and USB Hard drives
  • It's fast, tiny and takes seconds to run!
Go to these WEB sites to down Recuva http://download.cnet.com/Recuva/3000-2242_4-10753287.html www.filehippo.com/download_recuva
After installing this program plug the USB adapter and hard drive into the USB port of this computer and run the Recuva program on the USB hard drive to recover your files and backup your files.

You may need to reinstall Windows on your laptop after you install the hard drive back into the laptop.

I accidentally delete my cam on control panel and i dont have the cd drive of my laptop....how can i make my webcam back?

Hi there,
You can try two things.
First: System Restore - System restore will restore your computer on an earlier date/time. you can restore your computer the time before you accidentally delete your webcam. to go to System Restore
Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore. (then Select a date/time that the driver is still installed)
Second: Downloading the driver from Manufacturer's Website -you can try to search for your webcams website and look for the download page.

Hi der... Well it culd be ur sound card which having some problems. Or it can be the system sounds which are missing, or can be the drivers issue

Rectify
