Question about Washing Machines
Fault 130 in a Fisher & Paykel washer indicates a faulty Rotaty Position Sensor, or a faulty Motor Controller board.
F&P machines are quite technical and a seviceman should be called so that all components can be tested which interact with the faulty part.
This way you won't be replacing parts which might fail again, and a techs work will be covered by a warranty.
Probably not what you wanted to hear, but the best way to go in the long run.
TIP..... Before you call a tech you should look under the machine and check if there are rusty stains (or even clear water) on the bottom of the flywheel and/or of there are stains on the inside of the cabinet. These are caused by water leaking through the seals being flung from the flywheel onto the inner cabinet. If this is the case you'll need to add new bearings/seals and maybe a shaft to the bill..
