Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

When reading a book, you can access useful features by tapping the top of the screen to display the toolbar and then tapping the Menu icon.
  • Landscape Mode: Change the orientation of the page from portrait to landscape mode.

I have an e528 emachine and my screen is in landscape view instead of portrait view, how doi change it back? Now everything is sideways instead of up and down.

Hi and welcome to fixya!

To change the view of your screen, just simply press alt + ctrl + the arrow keys. It will "turn" your screen. Just stop when you finally have the view that you want.

This will certainly help.

My screen flipped upside down while I was online today, wasn't doing anything with the settings or disp;ay. Have tried restarting, but doesn't work. Can somebody help, please?

lol it's a pain in the arse that,it's a key combo, can't remember which keys it is tho,
So i would just twist the laptop round so the screens at the bottom & the mouse is at the top, then you should be able to move the mouse around properly.
right click on the desktop then select properties/personalize @the bottom of the menu.
then go to display then change display settings & change the view back to landscape.
thats if you've got vista or windows 7

Change Landscape to Potrait veiw

Hello, You need an application called HP MyDisplay, you can download this at the link below, this app will register in which way the monitor is (landscape or Portrait) and when you pivot (rotate) the screen it will rotate the screen as well.

push down and ok - this goes to text message settings

push ok - selects auto text

push up, then ok - changes from "off" to "on" then selects

Landscape screen

your hardware slide sensor is probably broken.  go to start>settings, tap the screen tap at the bottom, tap the screen applicaton, change orientation to "landscape".  your phone will be permanently in landscape mode, which is better anyway, since the screen rotation is annoying as hell.
