I'm having the same problem, i think! After disconnecting the power source for a very long time (days) and reconnecting it, i get nothing! I mean nothing at all. No lights, sounds or anything. Could thins be a power supply issue? If so whats the approx. repair cost for such a item? thanks to all that help in advance :)

Can you describe exactly what happens when you unplug it for 5 minutes then plug it back in and then press power. Explain the sequence of events that happen if any.

I have a 32 in LG lcd hdtv model 32lcd350 and I

Is it getting power? Try a lamp in the socket. Did the cord get pulled out of the socket? Are the batteries in the remote good? Does the 'front panel' power switch work? Does it have an external power supply or does the power cord go right into it? The power supply, whether internal or external can, of course, fail.
I see it is a discontinued model (from LG's website.) Perhaps some 'planned obsolescence' timer went off, and they want you to buy a new TV. (;^D)
I had seen a computer power supply that had a 'startup' circuit fail. It had worked for months without being turned off, and when it turned off because of a power failure, it would not restart.

65" 1080 mitsubishi tv model# WD-65733 wont turn on

It is probably the wiring. Try buying a new power cord.
If not than it is just malfunctioned.

T.v.says lamp not working

If the display indicates then it is possible that the lamp has failed or that the Power to the lamp is cut off. You will need to check the status of the lamp and also the lamp connectors, the supply from the power.
Check to see if the cooling fan is clogged and so has reset the processor with a error. If so clean the filter to reset.

I have on Sony KDF55E2000. 55 inch projection. Power wont stay on

Hi,
It is clear symptom that lamp is near to end of its wroking life and tv needs lamp replacement.
Please replace lamp in tv to get it back in business. Lamp replacement procedure would be written in user manual and its easy.
Please buy Sony original lamp for good picture.
Let me know if you have additional question.
Thanks.

I have DMTECH TV/DVD LT20X-1U23DMI .... LT1AHA02042 manufactured in October 2007. The TV doesn't turn on/doesn't have power. The outlet is fine. I've tried another working outlet without success. How do I...

Assuming that by "working outlet" you mean something else like a lamp will work, then, the first thing is to make sure its the TV and not the remote control. If the power switch on the TV will power the unit, the the remote probably has dead batteries.

Assuming it wont respond to either the power swtich on the TV, or the remote, then look on the back of the set for a reset button and push it. Some units have a sort of circut breaker. It may be best to do this with the unit unplugged.

If none of this works, then try moving the cord around. If the TV will power up depending on the cord position, then you have a bad power cord, which is a pretty easy repair.

If none of this works, then the chances are that you don't have a Do it yourself kind of problem

Bush 37" lcd turns on but thats it!

Hello, its possible the TV lamp unit has played out.
If you have the tv manual, there should be information on ordering parts and the lamps etc and you will need the part # and also find out who carrys them and other items for your unit.
