You don't mention if your speakers are active or pasive. In case of active speakers (if the need power supply they already have included amplifier) you can't connect them at your amplifier's output.

I want to connect external speakers to tv

If this unit has audio output jacks then these would be connected through an amplifier to provide your external speakers. Caution: Do not open the tv and connect additional speakers to installed speakers because you'll blow the small audio amp in the tv. I have seen this attempted many times

Remote sends tv crazy

The volume controller may have been damaged from a power surge or internal disturbance; not related to the a remote control. Your TV has a set of External Out connections, usually RCA jacks colored RED White and/or Black. Red and White jacks are relative to Right and Left Speakers when an attached cord with RCA male connectors are used and connected to an Amp or some type of receiver. You should be able to use the TV OUT Audio to a small Amplifier and connect to a set of inexpensive speakers or any external speaker set. This method bypasses the TV's Internal speaker system as an alternative measure.

Tv volumn

Are you using another remote for the guide? Like the cable box remote? If that is the case then the remote could be sending a signal to the cable box that is the same as the signal used to adjust the volume on the television.

Adding remote control activated ''mute'' to TV headphone jack

Generally when the head phone jack is inserted the speakers will get disconnected automatically.

If you are going to use external amplifier you can try the AV sockets. Opening the TV you may require the special screw drivers some times.

How to add more Sound, to my Sharp TV , even in the background, when watching movies, sound is very low , think its dew to cable service? Or would just like to Add external Rear Speakers?

The easiest would be installing a surround sound or other sound system that will amplify the audio. Also, some cable boxes actually have a volume control that is only found on the remote, try turning this up.

How do i hook external speakers to sony bravia television

The proper way to do this would be to use the audio output from the TV, either analogue left and right or the optical port, and send it into an dedicated amplifier or AV receiver. You can then use the amplifier or receiver to power the external speakers. If you are using a dedicated amplifier with no volume control you will want to change the audio output setting on the TV to "variable out" as oppose to its current "fixed out"settings. You can find this in the TV menu, usually under the audio settings. This will allow you to use the current TV remote to adjust the audio volume coming out of the external speakers.
