Question about Televison & Video
I'm assuming that no one has pushed (or hit it) on the screen in that area. In that case either the DMD chip or the lens assembly has failed in the exact same spot in both of them - it's not your fault.
That is truly bizarre, never heard of that before. Try to find out why this has happened - ask the guys from the shop if they have encountered it before.
