Question about Lands Phones

Hi ya. Hope you can help. My answering machine DSE was working okay with the standard message - now there is no message - and the both lights (green and red) are flashing. When i turn off and then on again the lights keep flashing - cannot do anything (play, erase, greeting - nothing). Thanks

No reset code on back. I tried disconnecting the phone and plug and turn on again but no luck. Could it be asking for battery back up? - one of the flashing lights is the battery?

  1. 1 Turn the machine upside down and disconnect the adapter.
  2. 2Open the battery chamber by lifting up and pulling out on the plastic tab over the battery.
  3. 3Remove the battery and leave it out for a few moments.
  4. 4Place the battery back into the device and close the chamber. Reattach the adapter to the back of the answering machine. The memory is now cleared and reset.
  5. 5Record your new answering message.

It is possible that the answering machine's memory is full and might need to clean up the memory.
It must have hung up the processor due to this factor and thus the functions are not available.
If there is a reset code to set this back-- please check on the instruction manual ,then get look to set this to reset.

Please , could you help me on erase all messages from my 'Premier Dynamic 120' answering machine ? Its memory is full and I do not know how to erase all messages since I lost the user guide .

Hi there!
Try to press the delete key when the phone is in stand-by mode and wait for the voice to say "To delete all messages, press delete again" then press delete again. Each message on you Uniden system should be removed. Lastly confirm the deletion. The answeringmachine should display ")" messages. If not just repeat the process untill the messages are gone.
Hope this helps. Please rate if it works. Thanks

Hi I have a DSE F8140 answering machine and have lost the user manual. Can you please advise on how to leave a recorded message. Thanks Con Katt

We have just found our manual because we're in the same boat after a blackout. here is how to record a message...

1. Press and hold GREETING button. 2. When you hear a beep and A1 shows, speak clearly at a distance of about 8-10 inches from the microphone. 3. Release GREETING butten when you have finished speaking. Your recording will be played back to you.

Hope that helps!

Error message 0xf0af8005 and green and orange flashing lights

Please follow these instructions to reset the printer. If that doesn't work, try again but wait longer before reconnecting. Otherwise, here's the home support page for your machine. You can look up the meaning of the flashing lights there as well.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

Doro 5065R +3 not working after replaced battery

I have replace my doro batteries with Duracell rechargeables, just make sure you fully charge them before you put them in the handset.  If you find after a time that the charge goes again, charge them again (in the charger you buy when you buy the batteries)! Hope this helps.  PS, do you know how to turn the answering machine on?

Shuts off before I can leave a message

If you are on (Rogers) phone via cable, this model of answering machine is not compatible. I'd love to hear a work-around.

Want to hear a message being recorded

okay, best thing to do is start from scratch, plug the phone line from the wall to the slot marked by the " L " on your fax, then pug the other phone into the slot marked with "phone" and listen for a dial tone. you should be getting if so then your fax should be working. hope this helps, if this doesn't fix it then let me know so i can better help you.

Thank You,

Mikey

Voice mail issue

Here is what is suppose to happen. Once you leave a message at Rogers, they are to send your phone a "stutter dial tone" signal back to your phone. When you phone gets this signal, it is to light your messag light. So we need to figure out if Rogers is sending the signal, and if your light is working. So, leave yourself a message. Give Rogers a minute or two to send the signal. Pick up your phone to make a call. Do you hear a "stuttery" type dial tone? If not, it sounds as if the Rogers system is not providing the signal. Okay, if your light is not on, then lets test the light by taking the Rogers VM out of the equation. Go to your Panasonic answering machine menu, and turn it on, then turn the number of rings set to 1, and save that. Now call the phone. It should answer after a ring or two, and your call should never make it to Rogers AM. Leave a message and see if your Panasonic answering machine takes the message and lights the light. If it does not light the light even though your message was recorded and saved, then you may have a bad light. If it lights the light, go back into your menu and turn the machine off, and look for any settings regarding using the "telephone company voice mail" or review your message light settings, etc. Hope this helps
