The best place to obtain a replacement part for your unit is to either try and download an exploded view of the product, found in a service manual (which is often information restricted to the authorised repair agent), to get to the part number.
An alternative way to avoid this is to contact the manufacturer and find the closest repair agent and simply ask them to order it for you.
Plan C is to DIY and try to repair yourself. My advice is to find the closest authorised repair agent and they will be able to order any part that you may need. If the product is under warranty, the may also honour that. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Hoover Spinvac F5915900. Trigger no longer causes a release of soapy water on floor. It doesn't have tension, fairly loose, but still in slots. How do I fix this problem?

The trigger that you pull to release water snaps into plastic pieces inside the handle where it pivots to push on the rod that goes down to push on the regulator that lets the water flow. If the trigger is pulled too hard it can break the plastic it pivots in. If this happens the rod doesn't push hard enough on the regulator to let the water flow. Remove the screw at the top of the handle to remove the handle part holding the trigger to see if this could be causing your problem.

How do I repair a non-functioning solution trigger

The trigger has tabs on each side that snap into slots in the handle so that the trigger pivots in the slots. The slots where the trigger pivots may have broken, if so the trigger will not push the valve open and allow the water flow. If the tabs are broken you will need to replace the upper handle. If you supply me with your model number I will determine the proper part for your model.

Trigger is not put together right

need more info. if the actual trigger that you press with your finger came out then it attactes back to the handle guard. there should be a screw on the back of the handle were you hold it. if you take this off the handle guard should come off. inside of this you should see two half moon clips inside that the trigger snaps into.

Assembling a steam vac handle part

when the machine comes new the way it is installed is to put the upper handle on the lower handle, install the bolts & nuts (tighten) and then to pull the trigger and press the surge button (if this model has one). you will feel them snap together. the clips on the rods should be at 90 degree's from each other. one will be a u type channel and the other a v type and will connect.

Floppy handle

you have to take the base cover off to find out what broke, there are some screws on the bottom remove those to take the bottom plate off then, then up inside there are more screws to on the top remove the emblem and take that screw out ,that should expose the whole inside of the base.look towards the back where the peddle is and see if there is any pieces laying loose,if there are then you will have to buy the pedal assembl.feel free to call me if you need me to walk you through it.314-628-9153

If the trigger is loose, then the part that it sits in(inside the handle) is broke, you will have to replace the handle asm. or maybe just the handle piece itself.
You order it here for $17.00+ s/h http://vacuumsuperstore.com/F5903.html

Re-assembly after belt replacement

The small red clip has a tab on it to hold in place while putting back on. put the screw in the hole in clip and use tab to guide into place. if there is no tab, then you need to obtain a new set of clips, very inexpensive. the laege red clip is easy to put on since it goes into a groove and can't go on backward.

Plugged water line?

The trigger in the handle is clipped into two plastic snaps. When the trigger is pressed, the trigger pivots in these snaps and the pressure is transmitted through a rod connected to the trigger down to a valve located under the water tank. If the machine has been carried by the top handle insead of the carry handle that is incorporated into the water tank, the extra stress on the trigger will break off the snaps and the trigger will not function properly. Take the water tank off the machine and press the trigger. Observe the valve below the tank support and see if the rod is pressing down on it.
You might also check the hoses that come down the handle where they turn at the bottom of the tank. Sometimes they kink there and this will restrict water flow.
If you have been using the wrong shampoo, that is shampoo not designed for hot water extractors, it is possible for it to congeal in the lines and plug them.

I'm not sure what your referring too, but Here is how it works. The trigger is snapped into two "rocker retainers" in the handle. when you pull on the trigger, it rocks and pushes on a rod that goes down to another shorter rod and that one pushes on the valve that releases the solution. A common problem was that the "rocker retainers" would break off and the trigger would not push on the first rod so the machine would not release solution. You will have to replace the handle half (called a trigger guard). The trigger itself has two plastic "springs" molded into it. This is all one piece with the trigger and they don't usually break. Also, when you remove and replace the handle, you have to pull the trigger to re-engage the two rods togeather or the machine will constantly spray solution. I hope this helps.

Trigger not working

Sounds like you need to replace the handle valve pieces, if they are available, if not then you will have to replace the hose asm. Just take the valve off and see if one of the pieces have a piece broken off. Then with your model number, you can see if that piece is available from someone that has Hoover parts.
