There are a number of faults which can cause what you describe.
F&P machines have a self diagnostic code which will tell the most likely course to follow.
A failed component can cause problems with other components, so it's best to call a tech who can diagnose and test the parts before replacing them needlessly.
A techs work should be covered by a warranty, which self installed parts are not.
F&P machines should be thoroughly tested before parts are replaced so that secondary faults don't appear.
Probably not what you wanted to hear but the best course to follow in the long run..
