First thing to check is if this happens on the BIOS as well. Restart the computer and press the specific key displayed on the screen to enter BIOS. From there, observe if the time is also not correct. if it also goes back an hour, this would be an issue with the CMOS battery. try to remove and reconnect the CMOS battery, restore BIOS to defaults and set the correct time again. If this does not work, may be time to get a new CMOS battery. On the other hand, if it happens only on the time in Windows, right-click the system clock on the taskbar, then make sure your time zone and date and tim are corect. If your time zone uses DST, set it appropriately. Then click the Internet Time tab and uncheck the option to synchronize to an Internet Time Server, then click OK. It may help to restart the system in this case.

How do I set my clock back an hour? It is the wrong time. My daughter set it ahead not realizing that it would change itself for daylight saving time.

Most digital clocks do not have the ability to move backwards. It is simply a matter of moving the clock hours forward 23 hours and you will be right back where you want to be. I hope this helps.

I can not set the clock on my i river reader it keeps going back an hour after i set it help please

Do you have your PC set to automatically adjust for daylight savings? If so, try turning that off and setting your clock forward one hour manually. Although it seems that this would cause your clock to be one hour behind if the setting software isn't adjusting the clock setting for savings time.

Somehow the clock is displaying 24 hour time format. I want to get back to 12 hour format. How?

Push the mode button twice to enter the "set time" mode. Once the digital display is blinking, keep pushing "mode" until the PM display section in the upper left corner comes on. Once that happens you are back to the 12 hour clock. To set the clock, use the 1-4 buttons to set the hours and minutes.

Hope this helps.

Oregon Scientific Model 323a--Atomic clock...the atomic clock keeps setting itself to one hour behind what time it actually is in my time zone...I mannually re-set the clock to the correct time...but when...

Make sure that the clock is set for the correct time zone and that the DST (Daylight Saving Time) function is ON. Also, although not mentioned in the manuals, these clocks will typically jump and hour ahead or behind when the batteries get weak. Replace your batteries if they are more than a year old.

My solar clock needs setting. I set it back an

1) Pull the batteries and replace them, or gently insert a straightened paper clip into the "reset" hole in the back of the clock. The clock will beep.

2) Press the "receive" button" so the clock sets itself. The default time zone will be "EA".

3) Press the "adjust" button untill the time zone is showing (rather than the day-of-the-week).

4) Press and HOLD the "set" button down untill the hours digits start to flash2.gif.

5) Now press the "set" button again six times. The time zone characters will flash.

6) Press the "adjust" button untill your time zone appears.

7) Press the "mode" button to return the clock to normal operation.

8) Press the "adjust" button to display the day-of-week.

Time, Date , year keep recycling when first plugged in.

You should take this Clock/Radio back for a refund or exchange. If that is not possible, try taking the battery out and unplug the Clock/Radio. Leave it set for at least an hour with no power. This will let the microprocessor discharge and reset itself. You also need to replace the battery. It is a CR2430. You can find them in most large electronic stores, large drugstores and supermarkets. Fry's electronics and Radio shack carry them. You can also buy them on line. After letting the Clock/Radio discharge for at least a hour, put the battery back in and plug it in. The functions should return to normal. If not you may have a more serious problem with the microprocessor. You can call Emerson customer support at this telephone number 1-800-898-9020 and ask them for help with the problem. I hope this information help you with your problem.
