Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Failed install with XP I had a bad key, bought windows 7 (downloaded) but my computer tries to run XP and I don't know how to wipe it out and install windows 7

I hope that you stored the download on something else. If you wipe that drive it will erase the download. Anyway you need to get a boot disk to load first and then try the install. Hirons boot disk. Look here: http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/ dont click on the advertising.

Mfc 420cn update driver for win 7

With the MFC 420-cn ( and I have one right beside me ) you have to update the drives from windows update. They aren't included in the Windows 7 disk. I've finally gotten all the functions on mine to work.

How to mute inside microphone in Acer Aspire 3002LC, but not mute line in, so that you can playback and record sound from line in (fullduplex)

For XP: On your taskbar, there is the Sound Icon. If you do not see it, write back asking how. Click on it, and click Mixer.
For Vista/7: If you have a internal Mic. you can also mute it the same way as for XP.
If this doesn't help, i will recommend you to a better expert.

What Processor, MB and RAM do u have? Both can be installed but first XP & then Vista in another partition. However Vista takes up 9GB space and no extra drivers can be loaded. If u have 4GB or more RAM, then go ahead, otherwise u will unnecessarily slow down your PC......sudeep

Running at 10 mbps

There's possibility that the network (router/modem/switch) you're trying to connect has limit to up to 10 Mbps only. Or it can be that the current LinkSpeed of the Ethernet adapter might be forced to 10 Mbps. Do the following to check this setting:
  1. Go to Control Panel> Network Connections.
  2. On Network Connections, look for Local Area Connection (for the D-Link adapter). Right click it then go to Properties.
  3. On Properties window, click Configure button.
  4. On the next window, go to Advanced tab.
  5. Look for Media Type, Connection Type, or LinkSpeed and Duplex Mode.
If the value is set to Auto Negotiation/ Auto/ AutoSense, try to force it to 100 Mbps.
