Question about Samsung DLP HL-P5663W 56" TV
I have a 52" Samsung DLP going on 3 years old. After a year of having it, the sound and color would shut off but the T.V. would still be on. After a month of that it started working fine. A year and a half later the T.V. is now shutting off completely and three lights show up on the on/off button, timer, lamp, and stand by. The T.V. would shut off a few times a day and then be fine for a few days. It started getting worse and now it only stays on for about 30 sec.. What can I do to fix this problem.
It could also be the color wheel, it's been documented for DLP TVs to have problems with both the lamp and color wheel. For those with a screwdriver and ability to read online instructions, you can replace the color wheel yourself. I took out the guts of my Samsung HLR-5067W and found that the color wheel shattered, I'm anxiously awaiting my replacement.

It is unlikely that you can do anything yourself.
It sounds to me that there is a power supply problem that has steadily gotten worse and that cannot be confirmed remotely, it must be done on site by an equipped professional.
