It seems that this is an issue the motherboard and it is not isolated to just your unit. It is an issue that is affecting many hp tx1000. Best I can suggest is get intouch with hp about the issue and push for a free repair or replacement.

You could always try reinstalling the driver to see if that cures it...here is a link to the wireless driver for the TX1000:
