JVC AV-48WP55 dead (by 2 users)

was watching tv and it switched off (made funny noise). now it won't power up, when plugged in green light goes on and then off with a cracking sound coming from the speakers.

can someone guide me in the right direction...

also this tv was fixed after 9 months of usage with similiar problem, tv switched off and wouldn't turn on. the ic which was replaced was on the B board.

I have the same problem with my AV-48WP34 248. I was watching it and all the sudden it turned itself off. When I turned it back on the blue light would blink bright then dim and a strange noise would come from my speakers. Any help on this problem would be greatly appriciated.
