My 2 year old can get out of bugaboo even though she is strapped in? Is there extra straps or a harness for bugaboo

The Bugaboo's like 99% of all strollers have a 5 point harness. Two shoulder straps Two Lap straps and a center strap with the main body of the buckles. 2 year olds become little Houdini's pulling the shoulder straps off in both strollers and car seats. There are small buckle units you can buy that lock the two shoulder straps at chest height these are excellent at keeping kids in their place. Ask any nursery supply shop they should have them.

Hi there. I have a smart trike classic.I would like to change it to 15month+ and have remved the sunshade and backing. However is there a seatbelt for it at this stage I cannot work out how to take the...

  • For 15 months you remover the headrest.
  • The safety rails come off.
  • As for the harness - there is a single strap that will go around your child's lower abdomen and wrap behind the seat. This strap weaves into a hole on a strap that runs from the front of the strap around your child's waist, under the seat itself and up to the waist strap in the rear. So basically the way the harness is set up for 10+ months old your gonna remove the over the should part of the harness and run the two buckles in front behind the seat.

Need to remove the cover from a britax eclipse si..how

Press and hold down the harness release button. With your other hand below the chest pads, pull the shoulder straps forward as far as possible. With the Eclipse Si fully reclined, open the seat-belt guard at the back of the shell. Pull the yoke out from behind the seat and unhook both shoulder straps. Pull the cover from the top of the seat so that you can see the slots in the seat shell. Pull each shoulder strap and chest pad strap forward and towards the centre of the shell, easing the metal tab and straps through the slot. Then thread them through to the front of the cover. Unfasten the buckle and remove the comfort pad. Gently pull the cover off the seat, easing the shoulder straps, chest pads, harness buckle and adjuster strap through the slots in the cover.

How do you remove the cover and belts on an evenflo car seat with this number on the side 25801158?

Turn the booster seat around to the back and locate the metal splitter plate that the harness is attached to. Remove both harness straps from the splitter plate. Locate the TensionRight knob located on each side of the seat in the front by the baby’s foot area. Turn the TensionRight knob to the back as far as it will go to take up the slack on the splitter plate strap. Pull both harness straps through the seat back to the front of the seat. Remove the harness strap from both sides of the chest clip and from the buckle tongues. NOTE: Please leave the buckle tongues locked into the **** strap for storage. Remove the harness strap from the seat. NOTE: Reattach the chest clip to the harness strap so they don’t get lost. Turn the booster seat upside down and locate the metal harness anchor. Turn the metal anchor sideways and push it through the slot to the front of the seat.

Need to adjust restraining straps up to next position cannot get straps through and cannot see how they come out (No instruction Manual when bought) Actual Model not known but on a label has SI 2008 265776

Contact the manufacturer. They ought to email you a manual within minutes. Manuals for car seats are very important, so you'll know when your child outgrows it. In my car seats, the harness is hooked on the back to a metal buckle-looking thing that is attached to a piece of webbing. The webbing goes under the seat and out the front, where you pull on it to adjust the tension. Simply remove the harness straps from the buckle-looking thing, pull out the front, push through the higher harness strap position, and reattach to the buckle-looking thing.

HARNESS FOR FRONT FACING EVENFLO TITAN CHILD RESTRAINT

there is another thread on this.

Basically, locate the ends of the straps on either side of the seat. You can remove the plastic end thingy and take the strap out. Then re-thread the strap. Remember to thread it through the thin grey strap (which adjusts the tension of the main shoulder straps) as well as the little metal guide at the back of the chair.

Your problem may also be that the length-adjuster (thinner grey strap) is too tight. You can loosen it by pressing on the button located just in front of the main buckle and pulling on the shoulder straps. This is also how you tighten the shoulder straps - by pulling on the thinner grey strap.

Generally, the shoulder straps should come out around the childs shoulder level. Higher is ok. Lower is bad because it doesn't secure him in.

Need help with putting straps back on

I know this is months later, but here you are in case you (or anyone else) needs the info again. First, though, I feel that it wouldn't be responsible to neglect to tell you that if you got the seat in 2000, it is expired and no longer safe to use. Car seats generally expire after 6 years because the plastic degrades over time - in a 10 year old seat, it can look fine but actually be brittle enough that the entire harness can rip out of the seat if it's an accident. For the manual, visit Cosco's website and fill in the product number and date of manufacture. It will bring up a PDF file of the manual that you can download. To rethread the straps, first replace the **** strap. Slide the metal plate down through the slot in the seat, with the buckle facing out. Slide the metal clip under the tab and push it down to lock it in place. Facing the seat, start by threading the end of the harness strap down through the slot of the left side of the bottom (where the child's right hip would be). Under the pad/cover, thread it across the bottom of the seat and up through the matching slot on the right side. Pull it until you have equal lengths on both sides. Thread the buckles onto the the strap (one one each end) and buckle them. Thread the chest buckle onto both ends, making sure that the harness doesn't twist. Buckle it, too. Push the ends through the harness slots. Pull the harness through to the back, making sure that it goes OVER the metal bar, but UNDER the plastic adjuster handle. There is a loop sewn into each end of the harness. The adjuster strap has a splitter plate, kind of shaped like a Y. Slide each loop over the ends of the plate and all of the way into the slot, so that the curved ends of the splitter plate are exposed and the strap is secure in it's slot. Adjust the harness height by squeezing the metal bar on the back of the seat (the one behind the harness) forward and moving it and the plastic adjuster bar up or down to the correct position (at or below the shoulders for rear-facing, at or above the shoulders for forward facing). Do note that the very top slot is NOT for use with the harness - it's only to adjust the headrest when the seat is being used as a seat belt positioning booster and is not reinforced to support the harness in an accident! Adjust the tightness of the straps with the button/extra length on the front of the seat. Properly tightened straps should lay in a straight line without sagging and you should not be able to pinch up any slack (lengthwise going down the harness, not across the width of it) at the shoulders or hips. Adjust the chest buckle to lie in line with your child's armpits, never his neck or belly.

How to take harness off britax evolva 123?

What a cool seat! We don't have that model in the US.

First , check out this site: http://www.britax.co.uk/index.php?Itemid=31&groupid=8&id=12&option=com_britax&task=showproduct

it shows how to remove the seat cover.

Next, from the back of the seat, there is a short, fat T shaped flat metal piece. Slide the shoulder belts off the piece. Those pieces can then be pulled from the front of the seat.

From the bottom, of the seat, pull the strap, then fold the strap, so the metal piece is perpendicular to the hold, , then push through.

Repeat on the other side and for the buckle in the center of the seat.

Do not place the harness/buckle in the laundry machine.

I hope this information helps:

1) There are harness anchors (metal clips) located on the bottom of the seat. Push these up through the slot to the front of the seat on both sides. To do this, you will need to pull them toward you, and then turn the anchors to fit through the slots.

2) You should be able to remove the bottoms of the straps at this point. Remove them, then pull the tops of the straps through the slots. (You will need to remove the buckles during this process.)

3) Slide the straps through the slot you need for the correct harness height.

4) Replace the buckles in the correct positions.

5) Replace the bottoms of the straps into the harness anchors.

6) Push the harness anchors through the padding and back into the bottom of the seat. Clip into place.

Missing Instruction Manual

https://plweb.evenflo.com/faq_detail.aspx?faqid=4407 the above link is for the manual but here are the instructions. If you have two plastic harness adjusters located on the back of your seat please follow the following steps: On the very bottom of your car seat locate two metal anchors one on each side of the seat, pull the metal anchors out of position and turn them sideways and feed them through to the front of the seat. Release the buckle tongues and chest clip and pull the harness straps to the back of the seat while pushing the chest clips, buckle tongues and harness anchors through to the back of the car seat. Push the harness anchors, harness straps, buckle tongues and chest clips back through to the front of the seat. Once the straps are completely pulled back through to the front of the seat, make sure the straps are not twisted by clipping the chest clip together and buckling the buckle tongues, then feed the metal anchors through to the bottom of the seat and clip anchors back into place. ********************************************************************* If you have an adjustment strap that is located in between the child?s foot area that allows you to loosen and tighten the straps please follow the following steps: Loosen the harness straps by pressing the harness release button that is located between the child?s legs near the feet area; while pulling on the harness straps from the front of the car seat near the shoulder area.
