Remove the cold water fill line at the back of washer and put it
over into the tub and turn it on if you have plenty of water
then you need the valve that it screws onto.

No cold water when trying to use it nothing

Your cold water solonoid is not working and needs to be replace. Very easy fix. Just follow the cold water supply tube and you will find it connected to a plastic mechanism with a couple of wires to it. Most of the time the hot and cold solonoid are together and you need to replace both at the same time. When installing make sure you test for any leaks. Good Luck

Zanussi 1050 washing machine will not fill with cold water . Cold water hose replaced because of a leak in old hose but machine will not now fill

Assuming water supply to machine is okay and no kinks in the hose Then its the solonoid valve that is faulty and needs replaced

My hotpoint washing machine does not rinse properly it still has washing powder on it , what could this be

It could be that your cold water solonoid is at fault. Also is water pumping out ok at end of cycle? this often happens and machine will keep same water in all way through. If you put machine onto a rinse only this will then fill with cold water, if so then that will rule out solonoid problem.

F & P GW712 - bowl spins, but won't fill.

Read your user manual - but I would suggest that you may not have setup the balance properly. Check the level of the machine and adjust to be as square as possible by adjusting the feet at the bottom. If the water isnt coming in on both hot and cold sounds like a common problem - perhaps the water level sensor is playing up or something else has been knocked during transportation of the machine when you moved house. Check your user manual for troubleshooting. Sounds dumb, but check that 'delay start' isnt selected also. check both hoses filters are not blocked.
