Question about Frigidaire Affinity ATF7000ES Front Load Washer

ATF7000es E10 fault

Getting an E10 error which I am unable to locate in the manual. It seems to be associated with the door lock, if I apply pressure to the door while washing it goes through the whole wash cycle. We have already replaced the door latch and main brain about six months ago. Do I need to hire a lady with a big **** to lean on my machine or is there a better alternative??

    I am getting error code 10 also. Did this solution work for the other people with error code10??

    It seems to only run through the normal cycle and shows e10 on ALL other cycles. I HATE THIS WASHER. It is making a nice grinding noise as well when it starts to drain.

    Same problem, Frigidaire repair guy came to look at it but , I been waiting for new latch for 3 weeks.

Hi - it sounds to me like the door latch needs adjusting or tightening up. It's probably something really simple like a loose screw. I must have plenty of those to be spending my time here :-)

Stirling XQG65-908E. We keep getting an E10 error and would like the instruction manual as we have misplaced it


Unfortunately, that particular model of washing machine has been completely discontinued and is no longer supported at all. Cheap imported brands / models like the Aldi Stirling machines are seldom provided with useful documentation even right from the factory in the first place, and so finding electronic copies of that documentation online afterwards is often an impossible task.

Furthermore, you would not likely find the information you are looking for in any standard Owner's Manual anyway.

ERROR CODE definitions and the associated corrective action procedures are normally only found in the Factory Service Documentation provided only to Factory Service Technicians and Authorized Repair Facilities. These special Service Instructions are normally closely protected documents not readily available to non-authorized personnel and ordinary customers.

I'm very sorry if this is not helpful to you, but what you are asking is more of an Appliance Service Call than a simple User's Manual request.

However, I will attempt to contact the previous distributor (Tempo Australia) to see if anyone there can still provide the instructions for clearing the E10 Error Code on that model, as well as a diagnosis of what possibly caused that fault condition in the first place.

Often times with these machines, the fault code is the result of a BLOCKED FILTER inside. You can usually find the filter located behind the lower right hand panel on the front of the machine, below the door.

Just turn off and unplug the power cable to the machine, then access the filter fitted in the location described above, and be sure to clean it out thoroughly. After waiting about an hour with the power disconnected, plug the unit back in and then test it out.

If the error code is still present after this procedure, then the fault is almost certainly something more significant and you will likely need the services of an on-site appliance technician. As always, I would recommend purchasing major appliances only from reputable and established name brand dealers who are able to provide reliable service and product support if ever required. They are certainly more expensive initially, but they are almost always more reliable and worth the money in the long run.

I am getting a EFO then E10 error message after I start a load of clothes...which means I have to cancel the load.


E10/EFO error code is an indication of a slow fill, took to long to fill, no fill or the fill water could be siphoning out the drain hose as it's filling with water.

Check to make sure that the drain hose is not stuck too far down the stand pipe and causing the water to siphon out. Check the cold and hot water supply to the washer for any restrictions. If you have a slow fill remove the hoses from the washer and check for restricted filter screens in the water inlet valve. Check for any restricted hose screens too.

Error code E10 what is it


Hi,
When error code E10 appears just take the cold water off the inlet tube to the washing machine, then clean the screen using light force air then replace the hose .Finally turn the water back on.This should solve the problem. If not the door latch needs adjusting or tightening up. It's probably something really simple like a loose screw.

E10 code on a zanussi jet system washer


Is it a washer-dryer? E10 relates to a fault with the inlet valve.....usually the valve itself going open circuit.

Mid wash I am gettign E10 messages


The manual suggests the following for E10 error --- 'The Water tap is not turned on.'
It is a valve fault.It is not taking the water in possibly. It is the green side of the triple valve. Try manual clearing the valve.Else The water inlet valve might need a replacement.

I am experiencing an error code during my wash cycle of E10... I have a frigidare affinity series washer.


Clean the cold water filter on the back, then try again. This should work. Mine was doing the same thing and the repairman had no idea what it meant.

I have a Fridgidaire Front Loader Washer _ Affinity. It has an error message flashing. E10. What does that mean? What do I do to fix it?


I have a Fridgidaire Front Loader Washer _ Affinity that flashed the E10 error code. I also had the problem with the fabric softener dispenser not emptying, and staying full of water. The problem was the cold water filter on the back of the washing machine that was semi-plugged. Cleaned the filter and now works perfectly. My machine is no longer flashing the Error code 10. The dispenser works perfectly.

E10 error code?


We had the E10 error code. I took off the water intake hose as the washer and the screen there was full of sand from our well. I cleaned the screen out and the code disappeared.
