Canon Imagerunner C2050 changing toner
Hi I couldn't install new toners into the machine because it can't get pushed all the way in and be locked. Is there some sort of lever or button I have to push?

- Hi Cogz. Yup every package removed, colors correct, etc. I concur it should be easy to install, but for some reason, it does not push all the way in. It does seem like the bottom part of the toner is stuck midway. The same goes for all 4 color of toner.Solution #1

I have the same copier and i just took out all the cartridges and cant put them back in, same problem with the same old cartridges

Did remove all of the packing off the cartridge before installing the cartridge. Also, is it the right type of cartridge for that you need and or the right color... It should be easy to install if you are installing the right cartridge... Good Luck

- Come to think about it.... take out all 4 cartridge and see if the trans port unit is installed correctly( look for 2 little blue levers) make sure it is locked in correctly. Then try to close the trans port unint then the front door? dose it close with easy or dose in get hung up. I believe there is aengaging arm that open the covers on all of the toner unit. It may have gotten knocked out of place. Also try to reinstall the old cartridge and if it works??? Then it is the wrong cartridge. The printer is a HP printer on it's own. It may be conpatable??Yes
