Question about Vacuums

2 Answers

Recently our Vitapur water cooler has not been dispensing water. The problem is the water is freezing in the upper reservoir. We have tried unplugging the unit overnight & turning it back on at the minimum cold setting several times which has not worked. We have also used the Vitapur cleaning kit to clean the unit, which also did not help.

No, there is nothing blocking the tubes because when we unplug the unit and the upper tesevoir unfreezes, the water dispenses. The unit is the Vitapur Professional Stainless Steel Water Dispenser with Mid-Mount Refridgerator, VWD8956BLS.

Hi. Check the water tubes. Might be something is blocking the tubes. Could you also provide the model number of your water dispenser.

All the best!

Bissell carpet shampooer model 9200-9 that is not dispensing cleaning solution

I had the same problem with my Bissell carpet cleaner. I tried all the recommendations but nothing worked. After reading all the blogs, I discovered that many people had the same problem. Fortunately, I still had the receipt from Costco which they honored and gave me a full refund. I was ready to throw it in the trash.

Ensure the Dirt Devil is connected to a working power supply if it does not turn on or operate. Check the fuse or breaker and replace or reset as necessary.

  • 2 Empty the dirty water tank if there is little or no suction. Turn off the Dirt Devil and grab the top of the dirty water tank. Push on the latch to release the tank and pull the tank off the base. Remove the lid and empty the dirty water into a sink. Replace the cap and hook the front of the tank onto the machine base. Hook the nozzle on the base so that the nozzle is level with the cleaner base. Push the back of the dirty water tank down and into position.

  • 3 Check the dirty water tank and empty as necessary if there is water leaking from the cleaner. Open the latch on the top of the solution reservoir and pull the reservoir forward. Fill with Dirt Devil brand cleaner to the fill mark. Fill the rest of the reservoir with hot water and close the cap. Replace on the base unit.
  • 4 Make sure the solution reservoir is seated firmly in the base unit if there is no cleaning solution dispensing from the unit. Fill the solution tank with cleaner and water if the level is low.
  • 5 Examine the hose and nozzles for possible obstructions if the carpet cleaner does not seem to be operating correctly. Remove any blockages.

Clean water and solution will not dispense

This is an unusual problem. The most likely reason is that the supports inside the upper handle grip have broken, and when you squeeze the trigger, the rod that opens the reservoir assembly is not pushing open the valve. If you remove the upper tank, and look behind it, you should be able to see the end of the actuating rod sitting on top of a rubber valve assembly. Squeeze the trigger and watch the rod to see if it pushes down on the valve. If it doesn't, the upper handle grip will likely need replacement. If it does push down on the rubber seal, the reservoir assembly has probably failed and may need replacement.

I own a watercooler 4 yrs old model # whkmd30The bottle water get extremely hot. There is good ventilation Any suggestions

Your water cooler has a Hot water section, also-- correct?-- You have 2 faucets, right?-- One COLD and ONE hot!
Is it possible that the section that does the HEATING, is stuck ON and is in some way heating the water back up thru the connection, into the big bottle?

Another possible thought: Is there a heater to prevent freezing of the bottle?-- Maybe it is stuck ON

Note: Your question ended up under Vacuums-- We are just trying to help-- Feel free to re-list your problem up there where water coolers are-- OK?

Sorry we couldn't be more helpful here in the Vacuum cleaner area-- :-)

    Cleaning solution tank dumping

in some cases the reservoir that the tank sits on would have to be replaced. best way to tell is, if you take the tank off and pour a little water in the valve where the rubber gramet is. if it holds the water its good, but if it goes down without you pressing the trigger then it will be the reservoir.

    Clean water tank

Will the water come out of the tank when you depress the valve at the bottom og the tank? The tank sits on a resevroir asm., is the seal on it, black and round. Inside the handle is a rod, so when you squeeze the trigger, it pushes onto the reservoir to release the water, check to be sure it is, if not then you have a problem inside the handle or a bad reservoir asm. is bad.

This could be due to dried out soap in the works below the dispenser. Try cleaning the hole, putting plain water in the soap dispenser to clean it out further. You could just put some soap in with the water. Be sure to run lots of rinse water through afterward to clean out the heating unit.
