Question about Dishwashers
but i dont know what you mean by the strike plate, nor where i would hear the click sound. I tried bending the peice that you can take out.. and used a screw driver to puch down the latch on the door. All to no avail.
The strike plate is the metal actuator depressing the door latch when closing hte door, its mounted to the top of the tub assy.and as far as pushing down on the latch you would need to push down on either side of the latch( the middle section is a fixed plastic to grab the strike plate
