Question about Gaggia Syncrony Compact Coffee Maker/Espresso Machine

Doesn't power up

My Synchrony mysteriously stopped powering up. I have ensured that the plug is in correctly and tight and I have confirmed that the outlet is good. There has been no power surge as all the other appliances and computer ate all ok. Is there are a reset button or reset sequence?

Same problem here, working one minute, lights out the next. No signs of life. Hoping there is a fuse or breaker somewhere.

RCA M50wh72s lamp keep blowing bulb

There are a few things that can cause this. First, ensure that the bulb you are installing is the correct one for the unit. Many are similar and the wrong one can cause problems. Second, ensure that you do not touch the bulb\'s glass surfaces with your fingers when handing the bulb for installation. The oils on your fingers will get onto the bulb, causing hot spots and premature failure. Next, ensure that the cooling fan for the unit is working. The bulb generates high heat when operating and the fan provides cooling to ensure the bulb\'s long life. A defective fan will cause bulb failure. Lastly, ensure that when you power the set off you do so with the power switch. This allows the cooling fan to continue to operate for a while to ensure the bulb cools properly. If you remove power at a power strip or pull the plug, the fan stops immediately and the bulb will not cool down evenly.

No power to the stepmill

Start by confirming power at the wall outlet. There should be at least 110v AC at the wall. Also confirm 12v DC output from the power supply where it plugs into the bottom of the machine. If you have power there, I would suggest pulling the side panel and checking the wires just behind the plastic panel, where the power supply plugs into the bottom of the machine. A very common issue with these machines is a simple loose ground wire on the grounding plate. If all of the previous checks provide the correct voltage, continue following power to the relay board and from there to the console. Your problem lies where the power stops. My mr2 86 doesn't crank

Make sure you have a good battery/connections. Make sure you have power down to the starter on the B+ terminal if not replace faulty wire or clean/dirty connectionson ensure connections are tight. While someone turns the key make sure you have power in the S terminal. If power make sure the engine isn't locked up and replace the starter. If no power you may have an issue with the ignition switch circuit (stitch, wiring, fuses....)

My speakers are plugged into the computer they're power is on and they are'nt working

You must confirm that they are plugged into the correct output and also into a power source. If they are powered speakers it can either be the audio out or the headphone jack, if they are not powered then they have to be plugged into the headphone jack. Next confirm the audio driver is correctly installed. Finally confirm that the system sound and the sound for whichever program you are using is not muted.

Just got mobo and set, fan doesn't start, mobo doesn't give any sound nothing moves....did basic removal of mem and unneccesry one by one and still nothing...

Power. Start with power.

1) Make sure the 24-pin ATX main power cable is plugged in tightly to the mobo.

Ensure that the lock on the male connector (Power cable) is snapped over the tab on the female connector. (Mobo)
Push down on each wire to ensure it's metal terminal connector, is plugged on tightly to each pin.

Looking at the middle photo you are looking at the Front of the connector.
Looking at the photo to the far right, you are looking at a side shot, and the back of the connector. The back is where the wires go in.

Each wire ends in a metal terminal connector.
The metal terminal connector is shaped like a tube, so that it will slide on the pins in the mobo's ATX main power connector.

The metal terminal connector also has two locking tabs. One on each side.

Sometimes there may be a problem with the locking tabs. The metal terminal connector is not tightly on the pin. May not even touch the pin. Check each wire in the 24-pin ATX main power cable's connector. Push in on each one.

Everything is fine so far?
Perform the diagnostic test to see if the problem is the Power On switch, or the Power Supply.

Use a jumper wire on the back of the 24-pin ATX main power cable's connector.
Touch the jumper wire from the Soft Power On wire to ANY Ground wire.

The Soft Power On wire is the Green wire.
ANY Black wire you see is a Ground wire.
(Soft Power On is also abbreviated as PS_ON)

The general type of jumper wire used is a paper clip.
Thin, and stiff, plus a conductor of electricity.
The paper clip is straightened out, then bent into a U-shape.

Black plastic electrical tape is wrapped around the middle of the U.
This area is for you to hold onto the jumper wire.

The 'legs' of the jumper wire, go down into the appropriate socket holes, in the BACK of the 24-pin ATX main power cable's connector.

One leg goes down into the socket hole with the Green wire (PS_ON), and the other leg goes down into a socket hole with ANY Black wire.

The paper clip goes down into the socket hole RIGHT NEXT TO THE EXISTING WIRE that is already present.
Slides down right next to the wire, and touches the metal terminal.

The metal terminal is pretty far down in there.
Ensure that the paper clip is touching both metal terminals on the Green wire, and any Black wire.

Power supply comes on? You have a bad Power On switch,

Power supply does Not come on? You have a bad Power Supply.

Hpdeskjet 940c printer

If the Power light is not illuminated, first check the power cable to ensure all connections are correct. Next, turn off the printer, then turn it on again. If the Power light does not become illuminated, the printer needs to be serviced. I believe if this doesn't work you have a bad power supply.
