Question about Whirlpool Cabrio 7.0 Cu. Ft. Super Capacity Plus Electric Dryer
The igniter is typically positioned at the front right side of the dryer. If your dryer has a front access panel or a peep hole, then you can open it or remove the small plastic plug to view the igniter working. If you do not have either, then the only way to view it is to disassemble it, which means you will not be able to test it when it's apart because the drum will not be supported correctly with the door off. If your igniter is working properly, you will hear it ignite the gas burner by listening closely to the dryer. Otherwise, listening to the igniter glow orange and not ignite may not make any sound.
