No heat coming through vent

Is there air moving out of the vent? Can you hear the fan motor running? Does air come out of other locations, such as the defroster or floor? What kind of car is it? These are the kinds of things you need to mention if you by an actual answer.

Maytag air conditioner turns on but fan does not blow. When I put the unit to fan only, I hear the hum of the fan, but no air coming out.

Hi,
Either the capcitor has gone bad for the fan motor or the motor has siezed up or gone bad... you cold try to replace the cap. first and move on from there....

Air not coming out full force

Check the circuit breaker for the indoor unit. Also make sure the fan rotates freely by hand, then check the capacitor for the fan motor and replace it if bad. If the capacitor is good then check the fan motor windings to see if the fan is bad.

2003 trailblazer I have no heat or air coming out of my dash vents

Is it no heat/air when sitting still, or no heat air period? If the heat and air blow slightly when driving you have a bad blower mower/resisitor and its not allowing the air to blow into the cab. If not blowing period when moving probably bad heater controls or fuse... Worst case scanario is you have an electrical problem that needs to be diagnosed

Hi, We have this system and when we on the unit...all we get is the sound of the system with no air coming out the vent...what should we do??

you should hear 2 seperate sounds; one of the water movement and/or water control, and the other of the fan and fan motor. If no air is moving and you hear a moderately loud hum sound, then the fan motor is stuck ( bearings probably worn or seized) and it will do more harm to allow it to be on without the motor running. Some motors can have their bearings repaired, other motors must be replaced. There are some units that use a fanbelt from the motor to the fan blade and it is possible that the belt broke. ou need to remove the access cover (with the power off) to see for sure whether it is a motor or a belt. goodluck, Macgivor

Refridgerator is not cooling. I hear the fan but there is no air flow

Ok when you say you hear the fan and no air flow, am I to understrand if you put your hands in front of the vents in your freezer no air comes out ?

The noise you are probably hearing is the compressor motor running (a humming sound) - you may have a bad evap fan - you will need to have your system checked and check the evaporator fan motor - if this is not working there will not be any cooling and air flow. they might also want to check your control board.

Air Conditioner Compressor Fan Quit

Check the start capacitor. You may be able to see visual deformaty, otherwise, use a meter. The buzzing is most likely the contactors closing which uses a seperate 24v supply..
