When I press the repeat button for the cd player I get an 'ER' message on the LED read-out once the CD has played through once. I didn't see anything in the manual with this code. Any ideas or solutions? Thank you!

After putting in the CD, move the switch on the back to the CD/Line In position. (The other switch positions are Off, AM, FM.) The switch is next to the Line In (3.5 mm) jack. Then press Play/Pause on the front of the boombox. This is the single button on the left side (The adjacent pair of buttons are the search (reverse/forward tracks). On the other side of the LCD display are the Stop, Repeat and Program buttons.
Hello There is two resons for this fault. the first one is with IC used in the RF section of the set. The second one is with its tape/radio change over switch. The set need service. If you are aware in electronics, you can do the repair by yourself. http://www.dataentryjobs.us/67948.html
when you get an err message it means that the eye of the cd cannot read the disk. when was the last time you put in a cd cleaner? one that you put into any cd player. you can get one at your local big lots or radio shack or best buy. you need not spend a lot of money for one. or you can try to use a cuetip dipped in alcohol and clean the eye only. dry with another cuetip or soft cloth and see if that solves the problem.
