SOURCE: Pen is always drawing

its the nib that is causing the problem - did you replace it or take it out recently? try taking it out and making sure that when u replace it or put it back in that nothing (dirt, fluff, whatever) is obstructing the passage way that the nib fits into.

hope this helps

It might be your tablet properties. Check in there and make sure the eraser is set to be the eraser.

SOURCE: Pressure sensitivity problem in Photoshop CS3

OK, I found the problem -- if you open photoshop with the mouse (whether it be through the quicklaunch bar, start menu, or desktop icon), the pressure sensitivity doesn't work. If you open it with the stylus or function button (I have a function button mapped for photoshop now because of this, since there's no icon on my tablet's display with how I have my display set up) the pressure sensitivity works fine.

A quick KIND of fix, but until Adobe actually does something about it, this is probably the easiest way to do it.

SOURCE: photoshop cs4 pen pressure not working. Windows

In photoshop, press F5 to bring up your brush control window. Under shape dynamics and other dynamics and any other brush attributes you wish to control with your pen, make sure that control is set to "pen pressure" in the drop down menu. Hope that fixes it for ya.

Stylus pen using on adobe photoshop

If it is a resistive touch screen you can use anything as a stylus. To test if it is resistive touch it with a non conductive material like something made of wood or wear a glove. If it doesn't work then it is a capacitive touch screen and then you just need to buy any capacitive stylus and yes it will work. Photoshop should work fine too.

G-Pen F610 versus Photoshop 7

I believe I understand what you are referring to. I can reproduce this same effect in Photoshop 6. The settings for tweaking this and other options like opacity is under the "BRUSH DYNAMICS" button for the particular brush. The default seems to have SIZE set to be managed by the STYLUS pressure. If this is changed to OFF, the size will remain constant, and you can use stylus pressure to change another dynamic. Hope this is of some help.

I also use Intuos 3 tablet, did you already try replacing the tip and reconfiguring the pen to the screen? You can find this in the driver software, it synchronizes the pen and tablet.
If you already tried that, does the problem only occur in Photoshop? Also, check your brush preferences, you can go back to your default settings and see. If talking to Wacom fails, you might have a bad pen or tablet.

Mildly annoying problem with pen pressure..

your pen nib might not be working, when you bought the tablet it should have come with three replaement nibs, just pull to old one out (i use my teeth (: ) and push the new one in, it shoudl fit pretty snugly.
