The most likely sistuation is that the code you are reading is the part number for the case of the remote control.

Cant get the sky remote to work my digitrex tv

Hi

It's probably to do with your Sky remote control version (if it's an old remote it won't work new TV's). If you remove the battery cover and take a look inside the battery compartment area, you will see the version number somewhere on a sticker (if not then you probably have the older type of remote). You can also tell by the remote colour, if it's blue it's probably old and grey newer.

Hope this helps.

We have loads of codes for sky remote control. Do you know which code will enable us to switch the tv off and do the sound control. At present we have to use two controls. TV remote to switch on and...

OK,

This really depends on which brand/model of TV you have and which Sky remote version. The code you need is specific to the brand/model of TV.

The Sky remote version is printed on a sticker inside the battery compartment. The older Sky remotes will have "RC1600/00" on the sticker. Newer versions will also have either "Rev 4", "Rev 6", or "Rev 8" on the sticker.

If you have a new TV and an older Sky remote (i.e. before Rev 8) your remote may not work with your TV and you will need to buy a new Sky remote if you want to operate TV and Sky box with one remote.

Please post back with your Sky remote version number and your TV brand and EXACT model number. I will then be able to provide codes for your remote and programming instructions.

Thanks.

How do i set a universal remote to a sansui tv

Hi,

Firstly, you need to let me know the brand and EXACT model number of your universal remote control. This will usually be at the bottom of the remote on the keypad side, on a sticker on the back or sometimes inside the battery compartment.

Please post back with the above information and I will provide codes and programming instructions for your remote. Please note, there is no guarantee that your remote will work with your TV - especially if the remote is older than the TV.

Nobody can help you unless you specify the brand and model number!

Thanks.

Sky remote code for lg television model no.32pg6000 to programe remote controll on sky remote

Code is 1293 if you're using a Rev 8 remote control. You can check this on the sticker in the battery compartment.

If you are using an older Sky remote Rev 6, Rev 4 or plain old RC1600/00 then it's unlikely to work as these remotes aren't programmed to control your TV. You are welcome to try though ;)

Please post back if you need instructions on programming the remote.

Please rate this solution if you find it helpful. Thanks.

Where do I find the model number of the universal

I would try looking on the inside of the battery cover. Sometimes universal remotes will have a sticker in there or it will be printed directly on the inside of the battery cover.
