Model LGXBR446 VCR/DVD Recorder, Have to go input on the TV to get the unit to Play, Does not play Automatically when turned on an disk or VCR inserted, Also the color is not correct

I think I know what the "skin tones blue" problem is-you probabaly have the composite video(for the old video-on-one-cord format) connected to the blue of the component video input.(component video is the red/blue green RCA type connectors).

Sharp aquos tv lost blue tones

Examine the set with the color OFF and if No blue (odd problem) check hookup----component uses red, green and blue cables and if blue cable is bad and signal is from component on a box---box could be bad.

Easy way to know---hook DVD etc to a rear inputs= still no blue?

Dvd player connected to panasonic viera. picture has blue skin tones and picture isn't centered

I always try the simple things first. check the connection. if hdmi .. then try a differnt cable.
It almost sounds as if one of your connections is plugged in the wrong place.

On component.. red to red, green to green and blue to blue .. then the extra red and white go to the video part .. also may want to check the tv manual - sometimes they share those connections with regular rca connection and easy to plug in wrong place.

Rca connetions - Yellow is video - red and white audio.

S video - one big plug and then red and white audio - make sure the big plug is fully in on both devices - I've seen similar things with s-video plug not fully connected on one end or the other.

Good Luck,
Bill.

The color is off on my Bose 321 DVD player. Pictures have a red tinge, and seem to be missing the blue tones. The television displays great color except when playing DVDs.

I just had the reverse trouble, the people were all blue. What happened is that two of the composite jacks were reversed. Check to make sure a cable is not unplugged, and that they are all in their right spots.

Samsung dvd player S224 pictures on screen are in red tones only

how is video on the dvd player hooked up? via s-video, component cables ( r,g,b), or the yellow cable? if it is the yellow cable then i beleive to be something wrong with the unit but just make sure you are plugging into the yellow input on tv. if it is the other types make sure you dont have the rgb cables mixed up. it is very easy to mix up the 3 wires. if it is the s-video cable try a different one if you can and make sure all pins are intact when you remove them. i hope this helps and good luck

Color of people's faces in movies played via DVD is now blue since connected to LCD TV

The reason the picture is blue on the DVD is because you have poor video cables running the feed, probably RCA yellow cable im guessing. Get some nice component cables for the DVD feed and it will fix you right up.
