Wolf ovens getting err message after power outage

I had a Wolf 30F wall oven with a similar problem
after power outage. It wouldnt stop beeping with error message related
to temperature control. My solution was to turn power of at circuit
panel, then reset by pressing and holding the clear button for 5
seconds.

Also note: in my case I had to close the display
before switching the panel off. When I tried to the reset process with
the panel showing, it wouldn\'t reset.

To reset other
various parts of the control panel Instructions said:

Time-of-Day Clock

Immediately after the oven is installed, set
the 12-hour clock to the current time of day. It may need to be reset
after a prolonged power failure. The clock is visible on the control
panel during all modes. If the upper oven timer is set, the clock will
not be visible in the upper oven control panel display.

SETTING CLOCK

1) Touch CLOCK.

2) Touch number pads to
set current time of day.

3) Touch CLOCK or ENTER to start
clock.

24-HOUR CLOCK

The time-of-day clock can be
changed from a 12-hour clock to a 24-hour clock. After the clock has
been set, touch TEMPERATURE for three seconds, touch CLOCK, and then
touch ENTER. Follow the same sequence to change back to the standard
12-hour clock setting.

Fahrenheit to Celsius

The
oven can be changed from Fahrenheit (°F) temperature to Celsius
(°C).

No Video or Sound after power outage

While it's certainly possible to fry the whole power supply or the DMD board, it's more likely that you've blown a capacitor. This same situation happened to my brother's TV after a power outage. I told him to unplug it for a half hour and that didn't help. He left it unplugged and when I finally got around to open it up the following week, I turned it on and worked. (I told him I fixed it).

Unfortunately the same thing happened after the next power outage so I opened it up and replaced two leaking capacitors by the power cord. It has yet to fail again after numerous power outages.

So first thing to try is leaving it unplugged for a few hours or even a day. Keep your fingers crossed that it doesn't happen again. If it does, either you or someone else should open it up and check for leaking or blown capacitors.

I have a Sharp model LC-42sb45u that will not turn on since power outage.

Voltages sometime increase/decrease during power outages. This mainly afftects the power supply of a lot of electronics equipment.
1. Check the fuse.
2. Check primary components like; Bridge rectifier, filter cap, switching components etc.
3. Check secondary (cold) side once you isolate the primary side to be ok.
Please consult a professional technician if you are not skilled in electronics repairing.

All the best

How do i set my Hager time for outside lights for block of units. It has a dial. The instructions are not clear at all.

I am looking at the 31575 7-day timer manual
1) Set current day and time
The timer dial has numbers 1 thru 7 with oval circles around these numbers
1=Monday
2=Tuesday
3=Wednesday
7=Sunday
The oval numbers are located at 12 noon on each day
Since these numbers are circled with an oval, let's call them oval-1 oval-2 oval-3
Current time is always lined up with black triangle at top of dial
Right now it's Tuesday about 2am
Rotate dial until pointer is near oval-2 ... and then line up pointer with small number 2 (for 2am)
If it was 4pm, you would line up with 16 (using the European 24 hour clock)
If it was 8pm, you would line up with 20

cbc3b14.jpg

2) Set your on-off times
The dial has segments around outer edge
Segments pushed-in = Timer ON
Segments out = Timer OFF

If you want the timer turned on for 2 days, you push-in the segments between those days
For example you want timer to turn on at 6 pm Tuesday and stay on until 3pm Wednesday
Push in all segments between those times.
Tuesday is located at the oval-2 ... 6pm Tuesday is at the 16
Wednesday is located at oval-3 ... 3pm Wednesday is is at the 15
So push-in all the segments between those two times, and the timer will turn ON at the scheduled time each week.

If you want the timer to turn on and off each day at same time, then you push in the same segments for each day.
For example the timer turns on your outdoor lights at 7PM and turns off at 11PM
Select a day: push-in segments between 19 and 23
Repeat the same for each of the other days and timer will follow same schedule each week

If you need more help, answer back and I will give words of encouragement.

After a brief power outage during a thunderstorm my canon i9900 will not turn on. I left it un pluged for several hours and then repluged it and still nothing. Everything else in the office works fine.

The power supply of your printer are damage due to the brief power output during the thunderstorm. Just check the fuse inside of the power supply of the printer if they have some burned or else use the Multi Tester to identify that the fuse are damage or needed for replacement.

How do I set the current time on the 12 cup programmable coffee maker. The hours unit only goes form 0, 1, 2 then skips to 12 thru 19 and back to 0.

I suggest programming it during those hours.
between midnight to 3 am or noon through 8pm.
sometimes it is easier to go with what works instead of asking for it to work perfectly.

Fridge won't restart after power outage.

If your power came back on within an hour of going off it is more than likely that the fridge will simply have tobe unplugged and left for 2-3 hours to let the gas de-pressurize inside the compressor. However if after you try this, and the compressor still isnt running then it will most likely be cause by a faulty relay & overload on the compressor. This is a saftey device so the compressor isn't overloaded during an electrical surge. The original part is sometimes expensive to replace, however a 3 in 1 hard start can be purchased to generically replace the original part.Hope this helps

Thanks

Restart problem

You may have to hard reset it by unplugging the cord itself and plugging it back in. When power comes back during power shortage, there may be a power surge rushing to the modem/router causing it to behave abnormally. Also, you may want to put power surge protection on it as it may damage you modem/router as i did mine.
