hi i have had my camera for less then a year well the battery finally went dead and now i put it on the charger over night and it still won't turn on. would it be the battery? or the camera i barley used it and it hasn't been dropped.

- The Camera wont turn on, the battery works just fine and when it is in the stand i can review the photos in the slideshow, but the lens wont open up and the camera will not start otherwise. If you could help with this it would be greatly appreciated! - ghostlierdan

- my camera is the same one as yours. I put it on the charger and connected it to my computer to the usb entrance, but then I accidentally pushed the "photo" button on the charger. then a slide show is supposed to happen, but instead I only heard the music. I pushed the button again and now it wont turn on. - ivon_mireles

I just called Casio customer service and they sent me a new battery in less than a week. 1-800-435-7732
