The phone is 5 yrs old but the receiver has crashed to the floor often. Now, the outbound sound apparently fades badly at times. Any suggestions?

you may be able to find a replacement handset on Ebay, they sell many such things...it probably is not worth trying to repair. Electronic devices have, and have had for many past years, a stipulation in the electronics area.
Anyway, try Ebay, keep looking, you may find a replacement.

My lg tracphone is like stuck on where you 1st turn it on. It wont turn off, wont let you call or anything

Check the battery. If it is puffy, or damaged, it can cause all sorts of odd problems with phones. the reason why, is it isn't keeping a consistent voltage to the phone, and the phone crashes. I have replaced batteries in "dead" phones before, and have brought them right back to life. It usually helps if one of your friends has a phone with the same battery, Ask them to test your phone with their battery and see if that fixes it.

Can open skout app keeps crashing

The iPod Touch has a set amount of memory available for apps to use. When apps have used up too much memory, and you run out of free memory, the application you are using will crash. Try freeing up some memory, if possible, to help prevent this.
Try Double tapping the home button if on an apple device and close all applications running also

Ive forgot my pin and have smsd 3 times and no response

When you enter PIN code 3 time wrong, your phone is asking for PUK code. When you enter a PUK code, the phone will ask for new PIN, you should tipe some 4-digit code which you will remember, then verify them. After that your sim card is working again. Caution: Be carefull if you enter a PUK code 9 time wrong you will crashed your sim card and then you must contact your network operator for information about replacement your sim card. PIN and PUK code is coming with your sim card, but if you didnt keep that you also need to contact your network operator about your codes.
