Question about Dishwashers
The heater element should be tested first. Use an ohm neter the reading should be around 30 ohms. If thats ok test the thremostat that is directly connected to the element. This should read zero ohms. if that testsok the check that there is the correct voltage to the heater. This procedure should only be performed by a licensed qualified person because you are dealing with live power. If there in no voltage to the heater test the wiring from the controller, then test whether the controller has power leaving it . Perhaps a technician should be called.
