Casio PQ-50 travel alarm

Hi, I've had this clock for a few months but have never figured out how to set the alarm correctly. Here's what I do:
- Set Alarm Set and Alarm Off
- Set hours and mins with the 'hr' and 'min' buttons

Here's the problem because I can't set the 'Date'. The same button that sets 'min', sets 'date' and I can't see how to switch between the two functions.

Seems as though there should be a solution there!
