Allert tone I have the phone on viberate and I want it to be a silent allert but insteat it beeps when I have a missed call or when someone leaves a message. How do I turn this off.

leave yourself another message to re activate the message tone. When you clear the new message it should reset the message wait tone

The beeping when someone is on hold comes from the main control box, not from the phone itself. You must be able to enter the Panasonic system's programming mode from a display phone connected to Jack 1 which is usually extension 101 in both the older 624 system and the newer 824 system. The Programming Code is "111" and this is covered in the KX-TA824 "Programming Manual" Version 3.0 on page 27. The two choices are "External" and "Tone," and you want "External" which deactivates the beeping tone and activates the miniature (3.5mm) phone jack on the control box for incoming audio (Music on Hold: "MOH"). By selecting "External," hold will be silent (no beeps) unless you connect an audio source to the jack. Entering the programming mode is covered on Page 15.

Usually somewhere on the MENU / PHONE SETTINGS there is an option for SILENT mode - this means the ringer tone is OFF and the vibration is turned ON.

Come back with a make or model and someone may be able to give you the exact screens to touch.

Go to "Profile", select "Silent" and the "Personalize", scroll down and turn off all the tones, eg. Message Alert Tone, Application Tones, etc.. Let me know if you need further help. Good Luck. Thanks for using Fixya.

Please see and found your key pad or other tone on your phone menu and turn it off. There are many sound / tone setting on your phone like, call, message, power up, connect, allert tones etc.

Change profile to silent, then go back into general profile & select 'personalize'. Go to Keypad Tones & turn off, then click back & select 'activate'. You should now have no keypad noise and the phone should ring.

It will not be completely silent but it become like silent just select the" beep once" tone as your ring tone

Press and hold the Rinse Plus button and wait for the washer to start emitting a tone.

Whilst you are pressing and holding the Rinse Plus button, the tone increases in volume from low to high and then it briefly goes silent, before it starts over agian.

If you release the Rinse Plus button immediately the tone goes silent, then this will turn off the beeping.

If you don't release the Rinse Plus button in time, just continue to press and hold the button and the tone will cycle around again from low to high to silent.

receive a new message or when the time for an
alarm comes during a call.
• Indicative tone: set the phone to beep when a
pop-up window displays.
