a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: I have a 13 year old Mitsubishi tv which worked

The vertical scan module has failed. The tv is easily fixable, but not by you, you will have to call a technician to replace/unsolder some parts. It will cost you around $150 ($25 the parts plus the labor) so must decide if the tv is worth that.

SOURCE: Mitsubishi Model # WD-62725 First, I

Hi,
Status LED blinks (orange) continuously is an error code that shows that Filter Cover is not attached on tv front.
Make sure it is fixed properly to avoid that error.
Thanks.

SOURCE: My Mitsubishi wd-63527 turns on for a few seconds and shuts itself off.

The set may have (some models) a recessed reset button on front but that rarely does any good.

This model should have two resets other than that one----soft reset if it has it is with Mitsubishi remote: On, Menu,1,2,3 enter.

Set also has a hard reset which requires a four digit number code and resets set back to factory---it is a last resort and should not be done unless the soft one does not help.

I would have the remote tested as without it you cannot do any reset--
Most digital cameras in a dimly lighted or dark room will react on screen display when a remote is pointed at them and buttons pushed or most shops have a tester which will show and react to each and every button when remote is pointed at them and buttons pressed.

This model could have a keyboard lock feature which disables the keyboard but remote should still function.

First thing is to know if remote actually is working or not.

Wd-82837 status light blinking tv tries to turn on blue sreen comes on then tv shuts off.

My status light is flashing and I cannot get an indication that the TV is actually on. There is no sound. I cannot get any display whatsoever. The blue light across the bottom is not on. Thus, the TV is probably on in the 1st place. Ideas?

Blinking green status light

Unplug for a few minutes then plug back in to try to reset it. Sometimes it could take as long as overnight before pluging back in to reset. Number of blinks is usually a trouble code.

TV is blank and status light is blinking yellow

I think you have a powersupply problem. This model has had alot of problems with bad electrolitic capasitors through out the entire chassi assy. Because of the way the manufacture designed this unit you may be better off getting a Mitsubishi Authorised service company to fix it. If you feel confedent,
check the powersuppy for 2 electrolitic capasitors that are bulging on the top. They will be your culpirts. I believe they will be 25v 2500uf. But don't hold me to it.
Hope this helps,
